Yeah,Pacquiao is a coconut picker for fighting a guy that came off a loss but Alvarado came of second best physically though.Rios rearranged his face. Did you see that kid's face after the fight? Rios is a tough coconut to crack!

You call it crazy, I call it perfect matchmaking by Arum and team Pac.

Power or size does'nt trouble Pacquiao. Skill and know how does.
Actual fighters with grade A boxing skill.

Pacquiao has skill, but he's not at the grade A level of it.

Compared to Rios though, Pacquiao's skill is way above, and he chews those types up and spits them out.

Alvarado is also a better boxer than Rios, thats part of the reason Pacquiao chose Rios over Alvarado.
At this point you want to feed Pacquiao fighters who will stand directly in front of him. Alvarado can fight with some lateral movement.

That and a Rios fight will sell a little more PPV.

Ok, so couple of dozen Pac haters, and Marquez. Nacho wants it, remember, he learned his lesson from Chris John.

There was a poll at the end of the year on espn, most anticipated bout of 2013. Pac JMM 5 came in first easy. why would you think otherwise? It was FOTY, with a stunning KOTY that left you wanting more. People prefer watching great fights, and these guys deliver, at the highest level. That's all there is to it.

Manny just came off an even worse loss himself . No shame in Rios losing given the fact he already has a stoppage win against Alvarado

    You're comparing apples and oranges.

Pacquiao was shooting up 3 weight divisions into the unknown to fight DLH who nobody knew if he could even make 147 lbs.
That was a matchup of alot of unknown factors.

Nothing unknown here about Pacquiao vs Rios. We know each fighters styles. We know each can make 147 lbs comfortably, and we know Rios is lost against good boxers.

Short of Pacquiao being completely shot to **** over being short circuited by Marquez, he should handle Rios pretty handily.

Btw, for some of you guys that think Pacquiao is going to war with Rios, I have news for you.
Pacquiao will fight Rios the same way he fought DLH and then fought Margarito. Lots of foot and lateral movement and alot of fast combinations.
Rios is going to be out of his element and reaching against Pacquiao.

Of course people will watch it but Marquez doesnt want it. the seris is over. Marquez outboxed the living crap out of Pac in the 3rd fight and got robbed, and KO Pac in 6 the last fight. nothing else to prove.

Well there's 2x his career best purse waiting for him, vs a guy he's got all figured out. seems like a no brainer, not about proving anything. but he's welcome to pass

This fight i believe will not be decided by skill but by Mannys lack of desire compared to Rios. Rios will be so unbelievably hungry to win and is you g and still has a fire burning in his belly.

Sure Manny thrives on Chaos but no one can do that forever...now his wofe and brother are also running for political positions!!

He has gone too far with the distractions too late in his career...end of the road for Manny now....sad and i wish it wasnt so.

Cast your mind back 2 years ....EVERYONE was saying Manny would destroy JMM in their 3rd fight....look what happened.

Not meaning to be antaganistic...just saying it as it is.

I plan to be at the fight....for the record i bet a lot of money on Bradley to beat Manny.
