MAn, Turbo, shut the f-ck up. Pacman and roach are known proponents of catch weights where as floyd "i fight guys at their best weights so there are no excuses" is a miserable hypocrite

2:50 is the most shameless ******ed response i have ever heard
    Um um ummm ummm,...ellerbe?!?!

I'm just trying to give you a helping hand. I'd be glad to talk about those 2 things you brought up, but this thread is about the Canelo vs FMJ catchweight situation. you're the one who started making all these comparisons to Pacquiao. You're trying to change the subject rather then admit that FMJ is a hypocrite.

But just for the sake of entertaining you theories, lets remember that FMJ was the one who all but accused Pacquiao of being on roids, and started this whole thing about Olympic style blood testing. at the time, no one had ever demanded such strict testing for a fight before. FMJ was on a bit of a crusade to "clean up the sport", and while that's a good idea in theory, it came across as really messed up the way he insinuated that Pac was on PEDs. and that became the barrier that prevented the megafight. (and it was created by Floyd demanding something)

To be honest, I won't pretend to know too much about the Pacquiao Rios situation, maybe you can tell me more about it, but I just searched google and couldn't find an article stating that Pacquiao asked for blood tests for Rios. Fill me in on the details and provide articles please. Are we sure that Manny specifically asked for the blood tests?

The situation with Hatton honestly, again I honestly don't know if what you're saying is true about how he almost cancelled the fight because he wanted more money. For all I know, you could be making that up. Is that as bad as Canelo being penalized millions of dollars for not making FMJ's catchweight? You sound like you are just grasping at straws to try to find stuff to make it look like Pacquiao is this big hypocrit, but really you're just trying to change the subject from what this thread is about...FMJ and his CATCHweight.

He's wasn't suing Floyd for requesting testing, he was suing him for defamation.

Thanks for the link. I'm trying not to take sides here, but lets take a look at this quote:

"The fact is that Manny has requested random drug testing for this fight. We still haven't decided which entity we'll use," said Koncz of the Pacquiao-Rios fight, which will happen on HBO Pay Per View.

"It's going to be either USADA or [VADA.] It will be one of the two. We still haven't decided. We're still discussing it, but the bottom line is that there will be mandatory drug testing."

That doesn't specify that it will be random blood testing. All that says is random drug testing, which is pretty standard for any fight.

    The article even says :

I mean come on with those quotes. Pac-Man's sudden acceptance of the practice? Drug testing in boxing is pretty standard. I don't think Pacquiao was ever against drug testing (urine), he just didn't like needles and drawing blood which made him uncomfortable and possibly weaker heading into a fight.

This article is very pro-Mayweather. The fact that he agreed to random drug testing means he's a hypocrit or "looking for an excuse to avoid fighting Mayweather"? Come on. This is all spin. What is he going to do, not agree to drug testing? And by the way, he didn't refuse mandatory testing in 2010. FMJ's Olympic style blood testing wasn't mandatory at all!

You're embarrassing yourself with every post. I've caught several of your posts since yesterday, and it's easily the highest fail rate I've seen yet. Let me clue you in: that site you're linking is garbage. Pac's request is no secret, you could barely have picked a less credible site to report on it.

do you notice also that turbotime is trying to deflect criticism off Mayweather and put it on Manny? He's bringing up stuff that is basically impossible to verify, like his claim that Manny was about to cancel the Hatton fight 2 weeks before cuz he wanted more money. I mean, that was in 2009, and there's no way to even know if that's true.

He said Manny is a hypocrite for "suing Floyd for asking for blood tests then asking for them himself for Rios". First of all, he didn't sue Floyd for asking for blood tests lmfao. he sued him for defamation of character, for accusing him of being on PEDs without any proof. And I am still waiting for the proof that Manny requested blood tests for Rios.

This guy turbotime is a freaking clown. All this BS in a thread about FMJ's catchweight. The depths that *****s will go to defend their idol knows no bounds.

It just shows that you were not looking to hard, that was just the first one there are several articles about it. Some people just can't handle being wrong so they insult people to cover up their lack of knowledge?

Nothing in that article said anything about Manny asking for blood tests like turbotime claimed.

So are you saying he did not ask for the tests? I agree with you that it is two faced for Floyd to down Manny and then do the same thing. They are both guilty of using catchweights to gain an advantage.

I said in one of my original posts that boxers are hypocrites, get used to it.

floyds team (haymon and gbp) asked for blood tests just like pacs team is
now actually having rios take blood tests.

how is that not hypocritical when pacquiao sued him for the same thing?

and how about manny saying he doesnt fight for money but for the fans, yet almost cancelling the hatton fight because of money? and turning down a Mayweather fight because of money? What about the fans?

I wasn't the one who claimed that Manny asked for blood tests, you know what I mean? The burden isn't on me to prove that. Turbotime made a statement and we are waiting on him to prove that Manny asked for blood tests. Turbotime is probably searching google right now to try to find an article that says Manny asked for blood tests lmao.
