I think it is over for David Price to be the force in division. Mission failed...

    This was extremely hard loss.

IF Price can rebuild his career from this it will be quite amazing.

He was supposed to destroy Thompson first time around.

don't start with this ****, we had enough of it when people were claiming Wlad had been doped. he gassed out, end of story.

also, did anyone notice the similarities between the defeats that Wlad suffered to the ones Price did?

both got taken out in 2 rounds. both gassed out and got stopped in 5 rounds.

does this mean we will be seeing Price come back and dominate the division? :think

    Anyways....

Theres still fights to be had for Price.

    Chisora
    Szpilka
    Seth
    Wilder
    Arreola
    Stiverne

really, plenty of fights left for him, for redemption.

I love how Thompson is all of a sudden being spoken of as if he is the third best HW of this generation...

Wilder, Arreola, and Stiverne would KO him. Savagely.

Price is done he is not and never was a World level fighter. The guy doesn't have the skills or mentality to be a Prize Fighter.

i wouldn't be so sure with Stiverne if i were you. he suits Price perfectly. he's slow as hell. Price would be able to keep him at range with his reach and not worry about using up too much energy fighting at a high pace.

Arreola? :patsch he's even slower than Stiverne. made for order. he wouldn't be able to take the power of Price.

Wilder might be able to do it. it's who ever lands first. if Price gets back to winning ways and gets his confidence back, that could actually go either way. though i would favour Wilder in that one. but you never know. Wilder hasn't done squat to show what he really has.

neither are the three guys you mentioned are at world level. what have any of them done to prove that? :think

he needs a trainer that shows him how to utilise his height to his advantage. height alone without proper utilisation of it is in boxing a big, big disadvantage.

Stiverne is about to fight for the WBC belt. Price can't even get by 41 year old fat unmotivated Thompson. For sure you can see the difference there?

what the hell does Stiverne fighting for the WBC have to do with it? have you seen some of the guys who get title shots?

Stiverne beat that Bum Arreola (who hasn't done jack **** in his career. was never a top 20 Heavyweight) but nothing else.

Thompson would beat both of those guys on the same night. Thompson's a bum, but they are not even worth calling that. they're total trash. :deal

i see the difference, but you clearly can't.

it would be nice to have conversations with people that have common sense on here, but all i keep on getting is crazy talk. :-(

Yes it was very similar to Wlads loss to Brewster. They both punched there self out. Farmboxer can take his fake Judd letter ans shove it up his white loving ass. I'm sick of his lies.

    His ideal future?
Go back to the domestic and journeymen scene, fight a few durable vets who won't crumble in the first 3 rounds and build up some conditioning.

Practice clinching and acknowledge and address the weaknesses that can be fixed instead of being in denial over them.

Develop a jab and learn how to keep distance.

Get over the notion of fast tracking to a title shot. Just develop into a better fighter camp by camp. Better to be a house of brick than a tower of cards.

Even if there's not a title in Price's future, there's a place for him in the sport at the contender level if he's got the mental fortitude and patience to bounce back. But it's going to take some soul searching and work. Honestly, the hype being utterly and completely gone will make it a little easier to focus on rebuilding.

The Judd letter is on record. Judd is an awesome attorney. You call Judd's letter a fake and prove it..............

Vlad easily stopped Brewster in a mismatch. Vlad was sick in the very first round. Read some of Steward's interviews right after that fight. MRI showed no signs of a concussion, a punch does not cause high sugar levels, so high that the doctors were afraid that Vlad would go into a diabetic coma. However, certain drugs can raise your blood sugar a lot. I guess I will have to post the facts again....................
