What? Chisora shown up? I'm sure he gave Vitali the biggest test of his title reign? He even said it himself?

Eh Vitali had one arm for most of the fight and still won clearly, he lost badly to Haye 5th round KO, Fury beat him and that was the out of shape fury of a few years ago, he beat Heanius but i never rated him, and i would not be suprised if Scott beats him Chisora is not world level he has lost 4 fights for a reason

Vitali easily beat Chisora with only one arm, if he had had two arms he would have knocked Chisora out. Vitali won every round with only one arm!!!!!!!

Price is not finished, he was put into the ring with Thompson way too early. Wilder refused to fight Thompson. If Price had done what Wilder is doing he would still be undefeated............

I wouldn't say he is finished and I hope he continues. Too much focus these days on boxers maintaining their zeros.

Price is a good boxer who has a couple of nightmare fights in a row. Even though his performance was poor on Saturday he is still capable of beating a lot of ranked boxers.

He can still make money as a credible opponent, Audley Harrison is an example that springs to mind and Price is significantly more dangerous than Harrison.

He can get into the mix at European level and probably pick up a title and a ranking that would get him a world title shot in a couple of years.

His fitness and technique can be worked on.

forget his stamina issues forget his chin issues what's more worrying is that when he comes under fire from a flurry of punches he looks totally uncomfortable....

Price is not finished, he was brave to take on Thompson the first time and stupid to do it the second time. People get too precious about the '0' these days, a couple of defeats now does not mean he still won't make it.
I think Lennox was spot on about the stamina issues, he's unfit and needs to do the hard work...

problem is, with stamina you can't just "train" and its eliminated, to a certain degree your born with what you have. There is only so much Price can do regarding his stamina problem -the problem will still be there. Price just doesn't have a big engine. I suspect he will have to just box more cleaver and be more economical. However, the blue print will always be out there how to beat Price.

Feel sorry for Price, from now on. on fight day he will have to watch his stamina and that will be with him all his career. He will never be the same free flowing HW anymore as he will always have in the back of his mind "i might get tired"

Fury has no such issues, he can punch like a cruiseweight all 12 rounds. Price i am am afraid to say will never be able to match that kind of output at this point of his career (or ever)

interesting point, what makes you think a good engine is natural? i remember in a marciano book reading that his fitness was shocking as well as other things in his baseball days, but from hard work, we seen the results.
but i kind of undertand your point, riddick bowe for example never appeared in great shape, even in prime , but the pace he set in the holyfield 1 fight i dont think any superheavy could of kept up with.

exactly, some ppl just have a higher level of natural Stamina then others, similar to strength. Thats why for example, Duran in his twilight years even though he was overweight etc he could easily punch and punch through to rounds 12.

I just feel Price has to realise his deficency that stamina is not a one training camp fix. It take years and even then he may never have the stamina of some others who might appear less athletic then him. The best way is for him to be more economical and accurate and use his brain more.

It's not price's fault it's the british public's for making him out to be the next big thing. If you look at his interviews the guy is very humble said he needed years to get to the Klitschkos, didn't call anyone out etc.

Some people thought him getting knocked out by tony thompson (an actually good heavy whose beaten Krasniqi, Ibragimov etc)was some sort of lucky fluke. They made him waltz into the rematch with no tune up fight and suprise suprise he gets knocked out again.

    Its not over for Price.

He had Thompson in trouble in both fights and just wasn't able to finish. Thompson is still a real deal competitor and top 10 HW at 41. Price was gassed after the second, that has to be nerves. He was also badly hurt by body shots and wasn't focused enough to take a knee, that has to be panic. His chin wasn't as bad as expected.

The road back includes some low level domestic confidence builders perhaps even a Prize fighter.

He needs to put on some serious bulk to his middle round his ribs, he will do this naturally to some degree as he matures.

He needs to clearly establish exactly what Lennox's role is, if he still has one.

In two years he may be ready to step up again and by then the title holder(s) are likely be different people.
