Due to a dispute with the McClellan family Don King (Productions) published a full breakdown of McClellan's purse (with deductions) against Benn and medical costs (Boxing News; January 26 1996):

The purse and other payments by DKP INC (Don King Productions), to or on behalf of McClellan (in American Dollars) went:

Training expenses: 50,215.37

Gross pay (less deductions): 200,000.00

Less Deductions:

WBC Sanction: fee (6,000.00)
BBB of C sanction fee: (4,000.00)
Payment to ESJEEB-per judgement in case CL 94-3541 Gerald McClellan, deft DKP garnishee, Palm Beach County Circuit Court, Florida: (119,279.35)
Payment to Trainer Stanley Johnson: (5,000.00)
Payment to Trainer Donnie Penelt: (2,500.00)

Net purse paid by DKP to Gerald McClellan (Linda Shorter): 62,920.75

So McClellan's trainer(s) earned 3.75% of his purse.

 

Burn's pays Billy by allowing him to suck him off.

What is it in Crolla's arsenal that you see that makes you see him as the winner.

I've got a lot of respect for what Crolla has acheived but I think he will be too small to put this off. I think Mitchell would have too much for crolla (hopefully we will get to find out soon).

I struggle to see what of Crolla's attributes would give him the win.

Ricky's reach will give him a lot of problems.

Crolla has a very very comapct style which serves him well against smaller guys, but guys with long reach and height are going to give him problems i.e. Mathews.

 

I just hope he wins, I'm not saying he will win, i'm not saying he will lose as that would be disloyal. All that last week was banter which people started crying about atsch Love Ricky as a fighter, A truely world class operator, i've just got a sneaky feeling for a Crolla upset, the same feeling i had before the Rees fight :hey

I ultimately believe Crolla will end up back at SF 1 way or the other, that's just my opinion but if he's offered a world title shot he will grab it with both hands. I will say this. He will give Ricky more of a test than Kevin Mitchell did :deal.
