I don't know at this point. Roy is so scared to take a punch he is not near as active as he used to be and he would have to throw a lot of punches to keep Pavlik off him at this point. Not sure how this would play out. :think
Everyone from Youngstown Ohio knows Kelly. Am I his friend? No. I've talked to him many times though. He is not hard to find. I run into him at the Bar all the time, seriously. As far as I know he has not left for California yet. I'm not saying he playing a trick on everyone by saying he is fighting RJJ, because he does joke alot. But. He did have seizures. And I know he has friends worried about fighting again.
Good point.. I have to remember shot Roy had built up some momentum when he stopped Lacy.. The love tap from Danny The Green Machine seemed to take what bit of confidence he had left. But we also have to remember, we don't know how far Kelly has gone down hill, we all know it just takes a punch, but has the booze done too much damage?
booze will destroy a fighter. Pavlik has also been inactive for a long while now. I honestly can't pick a winner. Probably would come down to what gameplan Jones decided to use. If he is aggressive and has a decent punch out put while using movement he would win easy. Not sure if he can implement this for 10 or 12 rounds though....
I can't believe this. What weight would it be at? What kind of shape is Kelly in? There's no way on earth that Roy can make 175.
One thing we do know, if Kelly lands anything clean with any sort of power on it, Jones will go out.. Drunk or not.:yep Prime for prime though, I think Roy ripps him a new one.
Last i saw were news articles sayin Roy Jones was gonna fight that mma dude anderson silva in a boxing match. what ever happened to that.
i did hear about that but then Roy is old and been KTFO so many times himself so i wasnt sure if that mattered lol
