Tyson Fury is a staggering 3/1 for this fight and that is basically the bookmakers giving us licence to print money. Fury will butcher Haye and heres why :deal

This is a bad match up stylistically for David Haye, Haye is timid against fighters with huge physical advantages such as Vlad, Valuev, and Audley Harrison.

The reason for this is because Haye has 2 severe weaknesses in his armoury

    1) He is the owner of a glass jaw :yep

    2) He has poor stamina and is scared of gassing in the heavyweight division where his jaw would get violently shattered :yep

In Hayes last fight v Chisora, people don't realise how close Haye was to badly gassing and getting knocked out in that fight, if you study the fight Haye was getting bothered by the relentless pressure that Chisora was bringing by forcing him to fight for 3 minutes in every round. Credit to Haye though for finishing Chisora off when he did, but if he hadn't of ko'd chisora in round 5, Haye would not have made it past the 7th.

Fury also has his limitations but he will have his game plan spot on for this fight, he will not leave himself open to a tare up in the 1st 5 rounds, instead he will box behind the jab and Haye will struggle to get to him due to his safety first nature against the much bigger Fury.

The 2nd half of the fight Haye will become increasingly desperate and not want a repeat of the vlad showing, he will open up more and may have some success but by the 9th/10th he will again suffer the kind of stamina problems he encountered with Carl Thompson all those years back.

Fury is limited in some departments but he's also hugely underated in several key area's

1 - when he chooses to box, he can actually execute that gameplan very well

2 - he has outstanding stamina for a heavyweight as shown against the likes of chisora, mccdermot, johnson and Cunningham

3 - the most important one of all is that he thrives in the face of adversity, if he gets rocked or knocked down, he has a huge pair of balls, he rises to challenge in the heat of the moment

This all leads me to the conclusion that Haye badly gasses and spends the 11th round stumbling around the ring on ***** street with Fury unleashing a series of delicious 7 and 8 piece combination to the groggy cranium of Haye, sending him sprawling to the canvas in spectacular fashion before a global audience of millions :deal

If Fury is allowed to use his mauling rough house tactics I think he breaks Haye down and KO's him. Haye is going to be giving up a lot of size.

I expect Haye to try and pot shot his way to a UD like he did with Valuev and Wlad.

At least Haye was never floored by featherfisted Cunningham and Pajkic. Imagine what a Haye overhand right will do to him.

I see It the other way. Fury is getting stopped, and probably early.

Haye can KO Fury though, that is one thing I am worried about. Everytime I have seen Fury hurt it has been by that over hand right and haye will have noticed that and has a very good over hand right himself. If Fury has any sense he will box on the back foot for the full fight unless it gets to a stage where haye has really become knackered.

I think if Fury does decide to do that he should win the fight barring a big punch since he has much faster feet than Haye, a much bigger reach than Haye and much better samina than Haye.

I still see this as a 50/50 fight though.

If he employs the type of tactics that he did against Cunningham i would agree, but if he boxes clever he has a very good chance of winning.

Theres no way Fury will box as openly as that, especially early on, Fury will know full well he needs to respect Hayes power. Fury knows that Haye will only be throwing between 5 to 10 punches per round until he gets desperate and realises he's falling behind on the scorecards.

Haye has been floored by Mormeck, Thompson, Barratt. Hardly what you'd call massive heavyweight punchers.

Staggering post Headbanger.. I don't buy into the ones saying this is going to be some easy win for Haye.

I will bump this gem of a thread after the fight.:good

Wlad beat Haye with a simple 1-2 from a distance. He didn't have a tools to deal with Haye when he closed the gap , if he did , he would of probably knocked him out.

Fury can fight great on the inside, has an uppercut , excellent body attack , can cut off the ring and has an engine to apply constant pressure. He can also fight at a distance behind a jab.

People giving Tyson zero chance in this fight has convinced me he's going to turn up more focused and determined than he ever has been before. Fury by tko.

Fury will get bounced off the canvas a few times and the ref or his corner will stop it. He's so open to a looping right-hand it's almost comical. Haye will find him with the right and will hurt him everytime he does.

After a few feeling-out rounds, Fury gets destroyed. He's in over his head.
