    Ali
    Louis
    Lewis

H2H - Ali, Lewis, Tyson, Holmes and Louis, all had a chance of beating each other, also Vitali Klitchsko with his size, toughness and unconventional style + Work Rate, would trouble many fighters (but not Ali)

This is a subjective argument, but my reasoning is that Ali is the greatest total package.

I'll give a comparison. Julius Erving, Michael Jordan, Kobe, Lebron. Lebron is on pace to beat Jordan's stats. The case is made that the league is better now than it was back when Jordan played so Kobe and Lebron are better than Jordan.

Then you have those who will claim that Erving, Bird, or Magic are the best.

Why is that? Are we judging by stats alone? Or are we judging by something more?

If we go straight by stats, I suppose Ali wouldn't be the greatest. But to me he is. He was the most entertaining. He has a legend and multiple legendary fights and rivalries. He had charisma. He had skill. He was a total package and boxing hasn't seen another Ali yet.

Lebron may surpass Jordan, but Lebron hasn't had legendary games. He has no legend. He's just raw athleticism and stats. There's nothing else. Ali is like Jordan. Lebron is like Lewis or Holmes.

    Ali is the greatest.

What about Spain where an adult 60 year old can marry a 13 year old, or sweden where child porn possession is legal. Listen you dumb foreigner, we do not need passports because our country is larger, you can go skiing in colorado, go to a desert in Arizona, and be in a tropical environment in Florida, US virgin Island, Hawaii or the US pacific islands. and then go hunting in the north pole, all in the same country. What reason would an American have to travel when everything can be done here? You Europeans are a bunch of whiners, that is why I call you all the pink panties  because you are a bunch of whiners and complainers, you will always be the pink panty to me. You start wars amongst yourselves and beg america to dig you out. Now you ought to have more respect for America because we saved you idiots from yourselves. If it wasn't for America, you'd all be speaking German and Russian.

Yes. Of course. Clearly, we were there for the oil.

Btw, what will be your choice when the time comes?

    Conversion or decapitation?

There is a seriously lack of love for Marciano in this thread. That's a tragedy when dildos like Vitali get mentioned.

There are still guys much smaller than Louis or Ali penetrating the heavyweight rankings.

The only thing that has changed, is that a light heavyweight like Chris Byrd or Thomas Admek can fill out to 210lbs today.

Can't say Louis was the best, but training at a gym with him 'n glued to the radio for all his fights, he's forever etched in my mind -- precious memories.

    U mad bro?

Don't worry. After the collapse of the European Union, when the Islamists are raping your sister in the street, we'll probably still come over and save your ass. And then after, when the continent is a smoking ruin, for the 3rd time in 100 years, we'll loan/give you expertise and money to rebuild.

Maybe it'll be a little longer this time before you forget and grow arrogant and fvck it all up.

    Again. :good

Well a past it "feather fisted" Ali whipped prime Foreman, so I would think Ali would be up there with those mentioned.

I think after his KO of Macklin, GGG has to get some mention here.

I think that is amazingly extreme...

However, people do always forget about the Norton fights, Young fight, and even a fight he won by stoppage in the Lyle fight.

If Ali fought in today's era, those are 5 fights right there that would have killed his legacy.
