Do you think Joshua could become a world champion one day?

I'll go one further - he will go down as a rival to Sugar Joe Calzaghe as the greatest of all time. :deal

Another heavyweight (who got a gift or two in the Olympics) to let Britain down.

he has a lot of potential going for him, so we'll have to wait and see. but if he doesn't, i'll be pretty shocked.

In typical Brit fashion, he'll get his glass jaw shattered after a year or 2 of hyping. Him winning the Gold was a disgrace and embarrassment to the olympics.

After watching him at the Olympics. Yeah. Lets be honest the guys in Britain bought him a Gold medal, I assume they can buy him a nice shiny world title too.

Impossible to say due to the scoring system in the amateurs being do different to the pro game. Being a good/great amateur no longer has the same correlation to pro success.

He did get a gift against Savon in my opinion but he is still pretty much a novice compared to some guys he is fighting. It all comes down to how he improves and how much he improves.

Maybe if he has an iron chin and gets the London judges in his big fights.

:nono i went back and watched the Cammarelle fight from my HD box and Joshua won that fight. i can't remember the exact score, but it was between 5-8 points. there was no robbery at all.

got rid of the first fight with the Cuban due to needing the space for the next day. i would have kept it though if i had read this forum because people were claiming a robbery. i scored all his fights from that point on, carefully, and he won them all.

whether people scored it to Savon or not, it WAS a close fight. :deal
