david haye vs tyson fury

fury is going to knock haye out.

 

Interesting fight, but I just can't help but remember the Pajkic and Cunningham knockdowns. Pair this with Haye's incredible power and accuracy, how is Fury gonna win?

 

Haye will win, step back and look at this fight...

I think Peter Furey is the man that could orchistrate a shock here.
Let's face it, 2 years ago you would expect Haye to KO Furey in roud 1. But Furey has learned a lot, matured a lot, and got himself into shape for a change lately. And They both have excellent trainers but I think Peter Furey has improved Tyson a lot more than we expected. I can see a knock out in 1 punch for Haye. I could also see Tyson wearing Haye down and being very cautios. The key to this is how much Tyson listens to his trainer and prepares for the early ambush. If he survives the first 2 rounds I see the wind gathering momentum in his sails. so nothing would surprise me here except for a ko from Furey in the early rounds on Haye. Late on maybe but I don't see Haye hitting the canvass any time in the first hald of the fight. But this is boxing!!

 

Haye inside 4 rounds. I wouldn't be suprised if its over in the 1st. This fight lasts as long as it takes Haye to land a right hand. Then its over. Adam Booth said it right. Speed Kills. Fury is out of his depth here and I really do see fear and think he knows in his heart he's out of his depth and his words are as much to convince himself as to others.

 

Haye is underestimating Fury and that is not good. Same thing happened to Donaire with Rigo. Seen it a lot, Lewis vs Rachmon. If he treats this like an easy win he may not be ready?

I guess you forgot about Haye being down against a journeymen super-middle weight in Mock and getting stopped against Thompson? Or his pathetic performance against Klitschko?

Yes, Fury has been hurt but so has Haye. In fact, the only one who has been stopped is David Haye. Haye's can just as easily get KO'd as Fury. Anyways, I think Fury is the better boxer while Haye has the edge in speed. We'll see what happens but I think a lot of people on here are overestimating David Haye because he stopped Chisora (who isn't all that good himself).

 

Well, first of all those 2 incidents were early in Haye's career. As for his performance against Wlad that doesn't matter so much to me because Wlad is clearly classes above Fury. The difference is that Fury got dropped recently and still shows chin problems, Haye lasted 12 with Wlad and stopped Chisora without being hurt seriously.

I don't get this... Fury has 0 defense, at least Haye moves his head and his feet. Fury is absolutely not the better "boxer" if you want to look at the fundamentals and technicality of it all. Haye will connect with one of those overhand rights that Cunningham connected, and since Haye hits harder and faster than Cunningham, accept a KO from Haye.

 

Thompson was a long time ago and Fury aint Klitschko.

 

Who cares when the KO happened, Haye has shown that he does not take a punch well. He ran the whole time against Klitscko and lost every single round. Haye was more concerned about not getting knocked out than winning the fight.

It is laughable that you think Haye is a better boxer than Fury. Haye's fundamentals are terrible, he is really just a speedster with power. Haye's defense is pretty bad too. He uses his feet to get out of the way of punches, see Roy Jones Jr for how that can backfire. Fury does not have Haye's athleticism but he is much better fundamentally.

Cunningham is also a way better boxer than Haye and is much smarter at setting up his shots. Maybe Haye does land a huge overhand right and KO Fury but I would not count on him outboxing Fury to a decision.
