Is it even worth breaking down styles with these kids seamus?

I could give a sophisticated breakdown based on knowlege, experience and comon sence as to why marciano was the better fighter and what would they say?

"Duh but Tua was duh bigger one....He was duh big boned".. because they dont know any different its all about size and nothing to do about real substance with these people.

We need to establish the fact that both Tua and Marciano started out a mere 10lb apart and were naturaly much closer in size. It proves before we get onto inportant stuff like actually being able to fight that the difference in size is almost entirely down to the established training of each others training.

horse**** that fighters did not keep their weight down?

horse**** that fighters were younger on average whilst having more experience?

horse**** that there was less difference between a fighters amateur weight and his over all proffesional career weight?

horse**** that i can name fighters who fought in higher divisions as amateurs than in the pros?

Thats a lot of horse****, maybe i should work in the stables?

Marciano may be the better fighter but he'd still get his head knocked off. Styles do not favor Marciano at all. He needs to avoid getting hit by Tua and he can't. He can't push Tua back, he can't do anything but stand in front of him and try to slip the left hook - but sooner or later (and it wouldn't take long) it would land and knock him out.

You are trying to claim that Marciano and Tua are of similar size when anyone who isn't blind can see that it's not true. You look like a certifiable lunatic, congratulations.

Youtube Ron Humes vs David Tua.

He doesn't look very big compared to his later day or Rocky Marciano. You've got the older Tua picture in your mind nutsak.

Tua had just turned 20 years old, you crazed nutbag. He wasn't fully mature yet and he still weighed in at 201lbs. Meanwhile, the runt was weighing in under 180 lbs at 26. :patsch

How much taller did he get from 20 to 25? I don't think he got much taller. He grew 50lbs wider. I think it's reasonable to say Marciano and Tua natuerally were the same. He's showing nothing of come to be wide as a door frame figure. Just a solid man.

195lb Tua was all muscle and 185-190lb Marciano was not, then naturally Marciano is the bigger man Tommo

I cant get particularly worked up over how big exactly bit Tua would have been if he had got himself into some kind of shape.

What I feel that his proponents are overlooking, is the fact that he managed to loose ever critical fight of his career. He was give title eliminators against fighters who weren’t particularly durable, fighters who weren’t particularly big, and fighters who weren’t particularly hard punchers, and he always found a way to blow his chance.

Those picking him over any all time great should be conscious that they are picking him to buck the trend of a lifetime, while taking him up a tier in competition. This sort of thing should only be done with a very strong stylistic argument, and with extreme reservations.

Tua? What has he done to deserve this lofty praise? NOTHING!!! Did Tua get floored...cut..
...blinded for several rounds...was behind on all cards..and then throw a BRUTAL right hand and with the title? Did Tua have his nose split open down to the BONE...and then storm back to win by KO???
