The only guys who completely negate Tua are long and/or slick. Marciano was neither. Thus, I can not count out Tua.

Both guys (Tua, when in shape) had a very high workrate. I think Tua had the greater one punch power but not drastically so. I think Tua had the better chin but Marciano had great recuperative abilities. If one is going to stop the other, it's going to be Tua stopping Marciano. If it goes to the cards, I favor Marciano. He just always seemed to adjust in fight to his opponents. Tua did not.

This one kind of baffles me if both fighters arrive at their best. However, Tua was inconsistent in his training and preparation. That might be what seals the deal.

Put a gun to my head and I'll got Marciano by UD.

Hiding behind another poster, is not exactly a sign of strength.

Rocky Marciano would bludgeon David Tua into surrender, from the inside out.

Anyone who disagrees is lost in the cancerous continuum of size=potential.

Get back to Ted Spoon when Tua racks up some meaningful victories.

Lewis, Ibeabuchi, Rahman and Maskaev... Big time elite modern-sized heavies who lived and died on punching power didn't put a dent in Tua. I don't think Marciano is going to do that. And Marciano would have to contend with Tua's equally voluminous output. If Marciano turns the trick it is by decision, by figuring out Tua and racking up the later rounds.
