Is Broner going to be the man in a weight division soon?

    Is Broner going to be lthe man in a weight division soon
    Broner has shown ability but hasnt yet tested himself to the full when moving through the weights. He could have stayed and challenged to try and become the man in a weight division, but took a different path. Could have done what greats like Calzaghe did and become the man at 2 weights or Michalczewski who was the man at LHW, or made an attempt like Haye who was the man at CW and challenged the man at HW, but NO...

    Now Broner is a world champ at 3 weights at a young age, but I have noticed that he has not been the man in any division
    Won a world title at SFW - Not the man
    Won a world title at LW - Not the man
    Won a world title at WW - Not the man


    Do you think this will change in his career?

    Joe was the man at SMW for a day and only beat Kessler to do it. Hardly impressive.
    Ward put Kessler away without giving up a round.

    Stop being so insecure. I know Calzaghe worries the life out of you, but here we are talking Jones and Broner. Stay on subject and try and answer before I end up running you off another thread

    But this thread is just using Broner as a masquerade to tarnish Jones Jr. Why are you so insecure about Roy...

    How was Calzaghe the man at LH? He would of had be beat Dawson for his IBF belt and Adrian Diacounu for the WBC belt.

    Broner does indeed seem like a carefully manufactured trinket belt collector at this stage. He is stylistically cherrypicking opponents but hopefully the gullable fans will see through this soon and force his hand to take on the best in his division.

    He beat Hopkins considered the man. Stevenson is considered the man at present but he doesnt own all the belts, same as W Klitschko who doesnt own all the belts.
    Im not convinced you have watched boxing for long Dino

    We can only wait and see, but remember Jones didnt go near Michalczewski so the fighters will have to be in the ring for me to believe it. we know Broner wont be fighting Floyd at WW

    No, he will never come close to Roy Jones at any point in his life.

    I don't think Broner will be like Jones. I don't think he will be an ATG like Jones is and I don't think he will ever be P4P #1 like Jones was.
