I seen a lot of threads lately on GGG and some of them are pretty decent and others I find hilarious but is GGG the next best thing or just hyped. I seen majority of his fight's and there's no denying the guy has power in both hands. He's an aggressive pressure fighter who can also box and has the ability to cut the ring off and unleash some punishment to his opponent. Even thought he doesn't have many good opposition in his weight class to face, do you you guys think he can beat Sergio Martinez? What happens when he moves up in weight do you think he can compete against guys like Ward, Kessler, Froch, Bute, Abraham, and Stieglitz?

    He's both.

He is definitely the real deal. Any self-respecting, objective boxing fan knows this. But he is also a little over-hyped.

I think he's a little of both. I'm reserving judgement until he steps up his level of opposition. He's certainly looked the part so far.

  4. Real Deal.

    Future P4P #1 and GOAT.

Everyone of the GGG hater, those people who know nothing about boxing, will tell their grandchildrens when they fancy for GGG .. "I saw him fight ..."

    GGG don't have any flaws.

Middleweight with more punching power than Mariusz Wach. Great amateur, never in his whole career on wobbly legs .. perfect. In brilliancy hardly to overtop. I am enchanted.

I had a dream last night that martin murray KO'ed him through the ropes and he fell out of the ring and couldn't make it back in the ring in time to beat the count.

He CAN prove to be the real deal.

As of now, he is amazingly overhyped. He has one win over a top 10 opponent, and one more over a fringe top 10 guy if you're generous. That's it.

    Very real deal.
The only one I pick to beat him would be Andre Ward...who is a phenomenal fighter.

Both. I'll gladly admit he's getting hyped, but he's also legit.

I've no doubt that as he continues to get opportunities, he will prove his greatness. But going by resume alone as of now (2 wins over top 10 rated fighters), it's not there yet.

He is hyped until I see him in with a very live opponent.

He's definitely doing what he should do against the opponents he's been in with.

But yeah, the amount of hype that he's getting based on 1 Top 10 victory is unreal. He has been solid, and hasn't done anything to make anyone believe that he can't be great, but I need to see a little more first.

GGG is definitely the real deal. And I'm sorry, but it's impossible for him to be overhyped. Words alone can't accurately describe Golovkin's awesomeness. He may go down as the greatest fighter to have ever lived.

  13. Like I said before. Best talent since Prime Mike Tyson.
