    just youtube.
    "
Joe Calzaghe On Hopkins/Roy Jones (2002)"

Jones went up in weight to fight Ruiz instead of Calzaghe.
Yes, that legitimate fight he had at heavyweight to call himself the Heavyweight champion of the World by beating Ruiz. :/

As for Eubank, he was a holder of a World title for years and Jones' never called him out.
He was afraid to leave America.

I know you are familiar with the famous "im not chasing Roy Jones" statement made by Calzaghe. What do you make of it?

And Roy was not avoiding Calzaghe, he was chasing his dream to raise a HW belt.

Do you realize there is a video posted in this thread where Eubank openly states he did not want to fight a prime Roy Jones?

Calzaghe and Eubank have both made statements about not wanting to fight Roy. Roy has never openly stated he didn't want to fight anyone, and he challenged people numerous times to come fight him in America.

This is been done to death, but Calzaghe-Jones simply wasn't that viable a fight, the timing wasn't quite there.

Calzaghe never said he didnt want to fight roy. He wanted good money for it, but seems Jones wanted that also and Roy said he was going to SMW to face Calzaghe and then changed his mind, that was when Calzaghe was beating Woodhall

If Roy dropped down to fight Calzaghe instead of moving to heavyweight the media would've ate him alive.

I still feel Calzaghe is the GOAT at 168 though. Then followed by Froch.

    I've seen that video.

It was the one with the roundtable and Eubank and Roy were in the same studio?
Its showing a sign of respect is all.

In some of Eubank's recent interviews he said he was a better boxer then Jones. He was.

Proper World champions chase down other belt holders. Roy Jones never chased any fights. He ducked them.

Showing a sign of respect? By saying it would have been "suicide"?:patsch He said he was a better boxer than Jones? Well, I have also heard him say Jones was in his own class, and normal boxing rules didn't apply to him.

And then you go onto saying proper world champions chase beltholders, well I guess Eubank was not a proper world champ then, because he didn't chase Jones Jr.

List of fighters Roy Jones didn't duck..

    Hopkins
Toney - Moved up in weight, considered the best SMW in the world.
    Ruiz-Moved up in weight
    Tarver- Dropped down in weight
    Hill
    Malinga
    Sosa
    Johnson
    Griffin
    Thorton

Above you can see three world Champions where Jones altered his weight to go after them. They were all considered very dangerous moves.
Pretty impressive. Including he collected every belt at LHW save the WBO.

Tony Thornton was a far better fighter than Malinga.

    "Hopkins"
This fight was at middleweight. This thread is about SMW

"Toney - Moved up in weight, considered the best SMW in the world."
By whom? Outside of America Eubank was regarded as the best.

    "Ruiz-Moved up in weight"
Hahaha That's like Broner moving up in weight to fight Malignaggi, you know it to.

    "Tarver- Dropped down in weight"
Is that the same Tarver who he is 1-2-0 against?

You said Roy Jones ducked challenges, I named some challenges..

I believe Toney was #3 pound for pound.. What was Eubank?

Roy is 1-0 agasint Tarver when dropping weight.

Ruiz was impressive no matter how you shake it.. It is nothing like Broner fighting Malignaggi..

    Your post was borderline moronic.
