Yes maybe so but... Khan has beaten lots of opponents who many would regard as having 'impeccable' timing - but yet again backtracking this could be seen as untrue Styles make fights and boxing has a fine line between dominating a fight and merely 'winning' with so many factors coming into play - What is timing in the general scheme of things? Brook and numerous fighters like the boast how their timing will counter speed or how they have the power that will knock their opponent out and it should happen within the 12 rounds. Problem is Khan might be able to time Brook better than Brook can time Khan and someone's offensive ability restricts how well you can time someone among plenty of other things/factors Marquez & Mayweather are masters of timing.. not Brook. Brook thinking his timing is what will enable him to beat Khan is rather shortsighted
Originally thought Khan decision but them right hooks Brook was throwing against Jones would have Khan down for the 10 count and the uppercuts would stun him Brook stops him
Khan is operating at the top level. Brook has yet to fight a single fighter that qualifies as decent. His first opportunity to fight a top fighter and Brook bottled it twice on separate occasions against Alexander.
first bit can you name theses fighters khan as faced with impecable timing paulie maybe but power 0, then how would khan time someone like brook who aint rushing in at him khan would try and get in and out as he as no inside game none, or do you mean time him with that combo he tried timing garcia with a daft ****ing upper cut from way out followed with a hook that never even reach the timed target
Khans punch resistance looks to me to be deteriorating. Brook has good power and accuracy, he'd catch Khan, wobble him and then catch him again - lights out. This fight is too easy to call. I think Khan is nearly finished in the sport and will be KO'd again very soon, when a jumped up lightweight is wobbling you, you can't have long left in the sport. It's not nice to say but the chin looks worse than ever, Alexander will KO him IMO. Where does he go then?
Brook looked good last night in comparison to his last fight with Carson Jones - lets make that clear. I think Brook is solid and it might have been best for him to miss Alexander and develop himself a bit more. He isn't world level yet, and I think Alexander would have beaten him handily. Even still, I think its a toss up between Brook and Khan. Khan is a better boxer all round but ultimately I think at some point Brook lands hard enough to hurt him and finish it. I'd be betting on a late rounds stoppage for Brook after being down on the scorecards.
proved he was number 1 in britain with a british title for keeps did khan do this :bart and i mean cleaned out his division domestically
Brook can time khan after a few rounds ! I think brook got the better shot selection to ! BROOK W KO BEFORE The 7th
