    He's a businessman.

He's getting Irish fans on-board to buy his fights.

He was born in England, till he defects to Ireland he's very much English.

Am I German due to my Saxon heritage? Hahah

Not a very good businessman then if he doesn't get the much larger English or British fanbase to buy his fights instead.

    :patsch

The sheer nerve of some clowns on this forum to outlandishly claim an actual no messing about Irish traveler that he is in fact not Irish. Good luck with telling one of those fellas that in person.

    Nobody's buying that.

If he isn't English then he isn't Irish either - he's just a Manc.

Ah, the extremist multiculturalism fella again. I'm sorry to break it to you but you simply can't just give out ethnicity like it's candy.

He'll never win over the British crowd, that's why most English guys preferred Price to Fury a few years ago.
Him being Irish after he breaks America(Which he will) will help him generate much more money then him being English breaking America.

Also I'm not a clown. I'm merely stating he was born in England thus making him very much English till he defects.

Tyson is not bright, He was complaining the other day in a ifilm interview that Manchester has not supported him, His next fight in with Haye in Manchester he would be much better trying to get those fans out to support him instead he starts going on about how Irish he is again, When he was fighting in Ireland he was fighting in half full venues

Excuse me? Oh don't tell me, we're about to depart down the winding road of 'bloodlines'. How exciting.

If a dog is born in a stable does that make it a horse?

    Haters.

T'was a magnificent victory of the Gaelic spirit don't y'know. The Fury lad beat a down seasoned professional, see. A veteran of 40 fights! He'd lost to men who were fighting before young Fury was even a twinkle. Aye that lad's got a big future, an' all the plastic Irish will stand by him.

Exactly - there's a reason why the fight is in Manchester and not Dublin.
