its good to see events like this , if done rightly it would be good to mix a boxing event with some decent bands on a nice sunny night !

nout cheesy but some decent bands doing decent choons

Passport problems? France is in the EU. Unless he didn't get renewed which can take time.

50 Cent had this idea i believe. I'd go with it but i think it would be quite costly to have more then one band. I think having a DJ do a set of more up tempo tracks would be best way to test the water IMO.

A Black Lace megamix CD would suffice.

    :rofl.

I do like when they put the music on to get crowd going before main event.

I'm not joking. It would cost literally nothing in rights fees. Hell you could even get Black Lace to perform in person for a grand or so. Hearn needs to man up and book the Lace.

Was a great night. The only bad point imo was the massive open areas between seats as people just stood there watching fights and the people in the seats theyd paid good money for couldnt see the fights properly. Didn't affect me personally but my brother and his bird couldnt see **** in the Matthews v Coyle fight..

Other than that it was a great success..

Exactly. Watching middle aged men spanking their planks in a field with sub par sanitary conditions is not my cup of tea.

Give me a small glass of sherry and my "Best of Gary Newbon" DVD over that anytime.

There was a fight in the crowd? ...during the Derry Mathews - Coyle fight

  12. Did I see right that the terracing was used as well
    That's a fairly novel idea

The east stand is an all standing terrace and that was used for the £25 tickets

1st time poster so go easy on me guys :)

I went and as has been said before the atmosphere and feel was brilliant. I made the mistake of going in shorts too as throught he day is was scortching, but got a little chilly after 22.00 and the Mrs wasnt happy after I told her she wouldnt need a jacket!

I got in nice and early to watch the undercard, so sitting in the sun drinking a beer and watching the boxing was about as good as it gets.
