Looks like a clear thumbing/lacing to me. What are the rules on a thumb to the eye/ lacing? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wtdOteT5G0Q
How much does it eat you inside that Vitali lost this fight? its been over 10 years and you are desperate to discredit it still. Though I guess if my steroid abusing hero got stopped by a bloated past prime 37 year old, I'd be upset too.... Move on. I have nothing against Vitali, but I just don't get his nuthuggers still going on about this get over it FFS.
Granite thumbs exist. Lewis obviously used the Monk technique Chi in that right hand. Blatant divine act of god.
****ing hell.........how many more threads do we need on this? Lewis threw a punch, Vitali tried to avoid it, the punch grazed and cut him. That's not an illegal punch. It's not like he backhanded him or anything.
I voted yes, but that punch wasn't flush. It caused a cut as it glazed, then Lewis kept at it with his glove laces.
I don't think you can throw a punch that hard with your thumb sticking out. You would break your thumb.
it seems it was not legal but it was not intentional and it is not like he elbowed him or headbutted! Its fine with me!
jesus titty ****ing christ, seriously? you seriously started a thread on this? It was a legal punch, if Vitali didn't move his head it would of hit him square in the face, but because he moved (like anyone would) the punch grazed and caused the cut.
tough break for vitali . lewis put full power into that punch with every intention of knocking him out . vitali should have let the punch hit him instead of tko6
