I'm from the UK, you're referring to Northern Ireland who class themselves as British.

Mainland Ireland is very much its own country. separated from the UK.
enough so much they use the Euro as their currency.

Collins is from that part of Ireland.

Its not really associated with the British.
The Eire's hate us British for a potato famine or something.

So, me supporting Collins has nothing to do with my nationality, that would be like an American Supporting a Canadian.

I like Collins' as a fighter after he beaten the best of English in fact, Eubank and Benn.

So, save your bigotry for somebody else.

Beating the best of the UK means nothing in reality though. Benn was finished and Eubank was on the slide. Nothing ATG about it.

Toney would knock Benn out. He would also outpoint Eubank IMO.

Roy's spanking of Toney, Thorton and Malinga.. With an unbeaten record, and a H2H beast at the weight put him second to only Calzaghe who was also unbeaten and just too deep a resume at the weight to not be considered the greatest.

Again, that is my opinion, and I stand by it.

 

Jones struggled badly against the nice and snug and tight defenses of Malinga and Thornton, resorting to feints against Malinga and missing 90+% of a 25+-shot flurry against Thornton, who dislocated his shoulder.

Eubank landed at will on those guys, but then again styles do make fights and Eubank had that ultra-slick style with those short untelegraphed shots, whereas Jones had a very loose style with leaping and/or looping punches. Jones also was more powerful than Eubank, a sick puncher.

I think you underrate the element of surprise Jones had.. Not even the best defensive fighters could stop it.. There wasn't really a way to train for it.

 

lol Eubank will NEVER be ranked anywhere near as high as Jones. Two guys at a different league.

 

Great was walking in Jones' ring and calling him out, live on air only for jones to blank him.

 

The best defensive boxer was Eubank.
Jones' couldn't penetrate that defensive with his leaping frog ****.
He'd get knocked out fast.

Jones was technically not as good as Eubank.

If you disagree with that then you're an idiot.

Eubank outside of America, yeah, that little bubble you live in was the real SMW champion of the World while your main man Roy Jones was leap frogging policemen in his prime.
