Two wars with viscious-punching Nigel Benn, two wars with the hard-punching Michael Watson and two wars with the heavy-fisted cruiserweight Carl Thompson.

    Plus Steve Collins....

Although i will concede that apart from those guys most of his opponents were C level...but that doesnt take away from the fact that he was incredibly tough (just look his face and head...same shape as a silverback gorilla)

So basically you're saying he had a better chin than Hagler, Ali, Toney, Leonard, Margarito, Chuvalo, Marciano, Duran, Chavez, LaMotta, Robinson, Vitali.. ****.. I could go on and on.

No. I did not say that at all.

I merely presented example of fights where the strenght of Eubank's chin was tested against fighters with proven punching power and withstood those tests, fights which would have obviously been the basis of Bowerboy's argument for the strenght of Eubank's chin. The matter of whether it was one of the strongest of all time is a debate between you and him, I was merely directing you towards the obvious fights Eubank had that proved his durability.

I feel Eubank had a very strong chin and I cant see him getting KO'ed by anyone, but I dont know enough about boxing history to compare it against everyone who ever fought in any period of time.

Nobody is saying EVERY British fighter is Glass Jawed but an abnormal number of your Champions ie: your best fighters seem to have Glass Jaws.

When have I claimed Fury or Macklin as Irish? They represent Ireland when they fight and when they dont. Of course they're born in England but they choose to represent Ireland. And if they want to represent this country then we'll support them. Tell me though, if Fury wasn't a pro boxer, you'd just call him a dirty Irish gypo, wouldn't ye? So Brit's dont claim Barry McGuigan or Steve Collins?

And the minority is the unionists up the North. The balance has shifted, so...

Really? Born to London to Nigerian parents and then moved to America when he was like 5 or something and spends the rest of his days there and he's British? Just like Lennox Lewis... who Brits wouldn't accept untill he won a world title and then he was British.

What about Derek Chisora and Herbie Hide then?

Big Lennox is a true Brit. The only reason he wasn't loved until he got older was because he was quite aloof, had a non-British accent and his rival, big Frank Bruno, was our most loved sportsman. But he earned the respect of the British crowd over time.

A true Brit? Jamaican parentage, raised in Canada, won a gold for Canada, speaks with an Canadian accent and now resides in Jamaica. My ring! Brit's only loved him after he became a world champ and when he was regarded as the best. That's when (in the eyes of Brits's) he became a Brit.

None of this matters. He chose to represent the country of his birth and early life. he had no choice in going to Canada. I'm a true Brit and if I had the resources I would probably rather live in jamaica, too.

He didn't have to represent Canada at the Olympics. And now he lives in his homeland of Jamaica. There could be many more places to live with his money but he chose to go home to his mother land.

Lennox Lewis is not a Brit.

Like I said, I would also live in a tropical climate if I had the choice. It says nothing of whether he's a true Brit or not, which he certainly is.

"I have always been English, ever since I emigrated from England and since the kids in Canada beat me up at the age of twelve for having an East London ****ney accent. I thank them for the ****ney taunts because the beatings turned me on to boxing. But on a serious note Canada has been kind to me." - USA Killer Lennox Lewis
