 no, just no. Stop trying to sound smart.

The only reason they wanted to put this on the undercard was because Julio Cesar Chavez Jr took their date on the 7th of September.

Not around that date. Cotto was originally fighting in September also and Mikey Garcia was gonna fight the week afterward on the 21st.

You really think this fight needs help selling when they have already broken the record for the highest gate ever :rofl with 19+ million dollars.

Then they had over 10 thousand fans show up in LA and 32,000 show up in Mexico City for the press conference.

I feel like a dummy just arguing about this with you. You're obviously trolling

I think it is the undercard to Promote Matthysse. If it gets 2 million buys and if Lucas ko Garcia, it will get a few million people intrested in seeing Mayweather vs Mathysse in 2014. I read they expect the fight to add about 200,000 buys to the overall number. Not a lot but the other 1.8 million or so who tune in to see floyd and Alvarez, may just become Matthysse fans. Or at least thats what GBP is hoping.

It's on the undercard to promote both and have them as possible future Mayweather opponents. Though I would prefer to see that fight on another night, for the sake of having another epic boxing night, but it's a better business move to have it on the undercard. It will be near impossible for people to miss this card simply because of the main event, add these two guys on the undercard and you got far more crowds tuning it. Insane exposure for both Matthysse and Garcia. See how Alvarez got famous so quick?

Zab still outboxed him half of the fight, it's the knockdown that made the decision controversial. If a part-timing Zab outboxed him I hate to imagine what Mayweather would do.

Of course you are right, I'm just assuming Matthysse will win. But either guy could be the next for Floyd.

The tickets have been bought and sold out already man. The only thing that's up in the air is the complimentary tickets and how it'll affect the final number. And Schaefer said it'll be a minimum of $18,647,000

Sept 14th r.i.p. to Danny G, don't see what the complains are for this as a under card.
If it shapes up something like
    Mayweather-Alvarez
    Garcia-Mathysse
    Broner-Miadana and/or Lara-Trout
    Ortiz-Guerrero
Thats a great night of boxing def worth my $70.
