So a 12 round win over Malinga was a good win for Eubank? Yes or no?

But a 6th round stoppage for Roy, wasn't that good, because Malinga wasn't that good?

I agree that the Sosa stoppage was harsh, but there was nothing coming back.

But we both know that Roy would clearly have beaten Merqui, and he dropped him with a nice shot.

Lets say the ref hadn't have stopped it, and Roy had've gone on and outclassed him.

    Then what?

Would you have given Roy credit for the win?

Then why couldn't Benn stop him in 92?

You didn't answer my other question?

Do you think the Eubank version of Tony Thornton would have beaten Roy?

Very considering his mind was understandably elsewhere

But you're not going to give Roy credit for stopping Malinga in 6 rounds, just a year after he'd taken Benn the distance?

A win over Malinga wasn't particularly good for Eubank, no. Because Malinga wasn't particularly good. Benn struggled badly to get past the long jab of Malinga, and lost that 92 fight to Malinga but was gifted the dec

Calacrappy's win over Jones was completely irrelevant. Anyone that knows boxing knows Joe wouldn't stand a chance vs. jones in his prime.

But you're not really being fare are you?

Either Malinga was better than you're giving him credit for, or Benn and Eubank weren't as good as what you claim.

Haven't you said that you think Benn would have beaten Roy?

He lost that fight to Malinga, but would have beaten Roy?

I know that styles make fights, but still, you're not being fare.

    Benn was a good fighter.

So in your opinion he lost to Malinga in 92, but when Roy stopped him in 6, in 93, he gets no credit?

That doesn't make sense does it?

If Benn got a gift in 92, then it has to be impressive if Roy got a 6th round KO just a year later.

Alternatively, if Malinga wasn't that good, then what does that say about Benn, who you think would have beaten Roy 3 years later?

Malinga wasn't a good win for Roy because Roy had to resort to a "bar room" tactic to flatten him.:rofl

    Eubank was much more convincing.

    Malinga wasn't a huge southpaw.

Malinga was a good fighter, but Roy had better footwork, quicker hands, faster reflexes etc.

If Benn struggled with Malinga and got a gift, he'd have had a nightmare fighting a 26 year old version of Roy.

I think Roy would have knocked them both out.

I feel Roy would have seen a lot of Benn's punches coming from a mile away, while tatooing him with faster, more crisp, clean shots that Benn isn't fast enough to react to.
