Austin Trout vs Erislandy Lara

I give most of the advantages to Lara. They've both been knocked down in their last fight, but I think Lara has the better chin (he got up twice and won). Trout will be the underdog in this.
I like both fighters. Let's get it on!

 

I favor Trout to win a close (maybe undeserved) decision. But from all big fights on the card I consider this one to be the hardest to predict.

 

Trout has nearly all the advantages you listed...he's damn good, not his fault he lost to a prodigy!

He'll be aggressive, come on angles, and throw a lot of punches....this ain't molina, vanes, or angulo anymore.

Even if the fight is close...Trout will get the decision. GBP wants the Lara hype to end, because like all cubans...he is boring and not promotable. Schaeffer has already said this.

 

Trout will beat Lara with not much trouble, Lara has already been beaten by Molina hell even slow ass Angulo was tapping that ass before he decided to quit.

Lara will beat Trout without a doubt imo...Trout is overated and has only face two top fighters and lost to one...Lara has faced the better comp, has better power and I don't see the slightly better than average Trout being too much trouble...Lara definitely doesn't have to worry about Trouts power...easy UD...

This is a broken record...Lara always the heavy favorite going in, then the excuses will fly after the fact when he doesn't perform nearly as well as he was hyped to. Then people will still complain that the top dogs are "ducking" him somehow.

I think Trout wins a close but clear UD.

 

Lara seems to have the crisper, harder, more accurate punches.

If it goes to the cards, Trout will get the W. You cant really sell Lara even though he beats Trout. It'll ne close though and wouldn't shock me if Trout actually does win
