How would you rate Floyd's chin? I would say it's above average.

Above average for sure.. I wouldn't call it iron though.

  3. Yup. Above average, not iron. Mosley had him holding for dear life in round 2

Floyd's body is stronger. Judah , Hatton , Shane and Cotto all landed good shots and he didnt even flinch.

How can it be above average when he's never been down in his life? He's only been hurt at all a few times and in every case he came back to take control in that very same round and was again dominating the next?

Floyds chin is good but it is hard to say how good. he is one of the best at rolling with a punch. He very rarely gets hit with a flush hard shot. They say the punches you don't see hurt the worst but Floyd sees EVERYTHING. I just watched the Cotto fight again last night, Emanuel Stewart (one of the best trainers ever) talks about how floyds ability to not be hit with anything clean is the best he ever seen. That is a huge statement coming from him. RIP!

It's fairly good. It's not great, or iron, but it's solid. He's been hurt/stunned by Judah, Corley and Mosley. If he had a bad, Khan type chin, then he might have lost one or more of those fights. I think his recovery abilities are better than his chin, though -- even when he's stunned, he's able to come back well surprisingly quickly, and he keeps his composure, knowing how to cover up and hold.

I'd like to see Khan take one of Mosleys full out bombs to the ear.

    :rofl

    Strong

But if it wasn't for him being smart and well disciplined Mosley would have been able to finish him

Can anybody name a so called iron chin fighter that has never been hurt or buzzed. It seems that to qualify for iron, that's what the criteria is. I can't name one.
