Why is Margacheato being considered for anything? He was disposed of by Cotto and should remain retired and out of boxing for life.
Margarito has never shown me anything except how willing he was to be beat in the face until a fighter was exhausted. He didn't win fights on skill but through attrition and suspect wraps. After Mosley's camp exposed his ass, his true status as a punching bag was revealed. Mosley knocked him out, Pac knocked his eye out and Cotto put a whoopin on him. WTF. Now they wanna drag his ole rusty, retreaded ass out for another beatdown. Brook needs to change some people in his camp cause they are not producing the fights he needs to move forward. It's not Brook, he has the skills and fundamentals to be an elite force at welter and like I said, it's a dam shame to move him backwards like that.
Assuming Margs does decide to unretire, I have a hard time believing that he would make his return at welter weight; a division that he hasn't fought in since 2009.
Once that Eye shows a "little" swelling , the ref will quickly wave off the fight and award Brook the TKO victory . There fighter will be protected .
The arguement could be made that Marg won 1 or 2 rnds , I only scored 1 rnd for him though , Miguel completely outclassed him in all the other rnds .
