Hmm... Chris Byrd was a black american who held one of the alphabet titles at HW for a while. I don't recall anyone wanting to see him fight just because he was black and from the US. In fact, most people didn't want to see Byrd fight at all, despite his accomplishments. So thread creator, your agenda fails.

Wladimir and Vitali are extremely popular worldwide. They sell out stadiums regularly and aren't hurting for fans or money. Both are regarded as the two best heavyweights in the world, and they have been for years. The simple fact is, boxing is nowhere near as mainstream as it used to be in North America. That's just a sign of the times.

Kill the race agenda and get some sense.

Byrd was feather-fisted and never dominated his opponents. The Klitschkos are heavy-handed and knock out most of their opponents.

Every top fighter has detractors. Overall, the Klits are very well liked, respected, and paid. Being from Detroit or Philly is not going to prevent you from having detractors.

Great point. They think because the enjoy Wlad fighting bums we all should be. BTW if they were from the US a lot of his fans would not be fans at all. Just like if GGG was from the US they would hate him. Farmboxer would still like them because he likes USA and UK white fighters as well.

I feel like you missed the point. The Klitschkos are very popular and highly regarded worldwide, although not as much in the US.

However, if they were from the US, Americans would surely like them more, but on the other side, they wouldn't be as much liked in Europe.

    That's probably true overall.

However, the American heavyweight champions like Ali, Tyson, Holyfield and Holmes were much more respected in Europe. I've never seen any obsessive haters of those boxers like the Klitschkos have.

The only American heavyweight champ I've seen having persistent, obsessive haters is Rocky Marciano.

Having a higher standard and expecting more out of a champ is not being a hater. Grow up , fcuking baby.

A better question is why do the Klittards & only the Klittards frequently make threads exactly like this one- Why don't people love the Klits as much as I do?

No other group of boxing fans are as insecure & emotional as the Klittards. You don't see any other bunch of fans make threads questioning why their beloved brothers are disliked by some people, its beyond pathetic.

The sooner the bro's retire & these racist, stat loving freaks **** off the better.

That's probably due to you being a delusional, race-obsessed odd ball with only the flimsiest grip on reality.

Dempsey gets far more stick than Marciano & every major champion has their detractors, stop crying because not everyone loves the Klits as much as you do.

That describes yourself. You're the one who is race-obsessed.

In virtually every post you make you bring up race, and you seem to have a racist agenda against European boxers and their fans.

It would make a difference from the perspective of the American market because having an American Heavyweight champion is huge for ratings. But in terms of how they are perceived beyond that, they would receive the same criticism.

Utterly ******ed, their nationality has nothing to do with them sucking. Their weak era, weak legacies and **** poor performance do.

If they were black Americans from Detroit, would you even be defending them? Would Farmboxer? Would any of the CasteFootball types?

We all know the answer to these questions. So yes, they receive a lot of hate because of their race, but they also get a lot of love, if not even more, from others because of it.
