Wow. Then why are we even paying to watch this fight? Why? Why? If this fight is such a "shut out" let you Floyd huggers tell it why even entertain a fight that we know Mayweather is just going to cruise his way to a win.

.......the answer to this is because Floyd won't. Canelo will win rounds. And I'm rooting for him to win the fight. Super Street Fighter 4 style.

Dude we all know Floyd will play this kid but no KO. The only way Floyd KO is if he wants to kiss Floyd like Victor  tried and then kiss the floor:dead

    I know it's a longshot but I just have a feeling.
Also I don't think that it will be a blowout. I just think Alvarez will have to use a lot of energy early and will make it a good fight. Many people have said how surprised they were at how fresh Floyd was in the final rounds. Alvarez will not be ready for a fresh Mayweather in the late rounds. He will tire out and Floyd will take over the fight. It's not like this is uncommon for floyd. I just think That Alvarez will have to take risks in order to keep the fight close and if anyone can capitalize on that it's Mayweather.

I will agree that Floyd always finds a way to maximize any small mistake made from an opponent but with his hands these days I don't see him knocking this big tree down much less out.

    Thanks Bro:smoke

I hear you but I've got a feeling too, this fight will be a chess match and when Canelo feels confident he will take risks, but his risks will be combination punches, lunge hooks with uppercuts followed. He won't throw single shots. He will be mindful of his own defense, and at times make Floyd come to him.

Canelo likes to "act" tired too the way he did with Trout he lures you in to take shots on him so he can explode with uppercuts. He is crafty and so is Mayweather. They both will show what they got.

Canelo will come off like a "best kept secret" in this fight. People will ask "where the hell he come from fighting like he is a veteran already"?

I love this fight because people are picking against him in a shut out like Floyd is fighting Danny Green or somebody. They don't expect this kid to throw-down like unbiased boxing fans can tell.

I agree with little of your points. Hey if Canelo wants to play up the "Oh I am gassing out" and attempt to fool Floyd.....well he might fool him once but pay twice I don't think he was faking as much as he was shaking with Trout brother:smoke

I like the Trout fight. Canelo had to find his range against a tall busy southpaw. If ya'll paid attention you could see Canelo aiming his jabs and hooks to Trouts CHEST and landing them. But to close distance Canelo has a sort of "Guile" gallop. its a double shuffle he does to get close while coming with some kind of attack.

This told me that Canelo is smart. Why head hunt when you don't have to?

Canelo will be aiming at Floyds chest and mid section all night long and when the head is in range, expect 2 to 3 punch combinations to go towards it. His combinations are also mixed up. Head and body.

Its the little things Canelo does in this fight that will make him shine.

We know Floyd does what he does but I personally feel he is in the ring with somebody that will show he aint the only one displaying Hard work and Dedication.

I will leave it at this last input. All boxers go in facing Floyd and promise to throw combo punches and most all of them freeze the FK up for some damn reason.

If you were in Canelo corner whispering in his ear your plan :yep might give him a better chance. Just watch how Canelo will start to become more and more reserved  as this thing moves round after round.

You would slap his face if you were allowed in his corner :patsch and that might be what he will require to make this a fun fight.

    Sleep well my friend :smoke

I'll be rooting for canelo but I think Floyd is a bad style matchup for him. All floyd has to do is run and pot shot all night, wide UD. Canelo is good and will only get better but I don't think he beats May to the punch or that he'll be able to catch a moving Floyd. People that think Floyd KOs Canelo are crazy, Canelo is not wreckless, Floyd won't be going in for the kill, too risky.

Don't get me wrong. Alvarez is a good fighter and I think he will have a great Career, I just think he should have waited for this fight or not taken it ever. It's risk/reward, Alvarez wins and he gets credit for beating a guy 13 years older than him and 20 pounds lighter. Alvarez loses and he is embarrassed for the same reason. He just is not experienced enough for Floyd. Good thing he is young he can spend the next few years rebuilding his rep.

i cant pick against floyd. hes very good, alot people dont realize how good. canelo has to hurt him an knock him out early only way canelo wins imo. u gotta get him before he figures u out.

there is a wrench thrown in wit this fight for floyd because of the size of canelo. thats floyds main concern

I think Canelo has a decent chance. He hopefully won't do what a lot of Floyd's opponents do, namely walk into trouble. If he fights in spurts and counters he can have success. He definitely has the power to hurt Floyd and has all the punches. I am not saying he will win, but I wouldn't be completely shocked if he did.

*I think Canelo hurts him early, may even knock him down... then May gets on his bike... May will see just how fast a young Canelo is... im pretty sure Canelo brutilzes May in a win...:yep
