The question was does anyone know what's going on with him

You don't need to be a genius to know Ricky was outclassed by Gonzalez. Don't believe me? Ask everyone else who watched the fight.

I can accept Ricky wasnt at his best and have explained the reason as to why,you clearly only see one side to things,never mind AND STILL:happy:happy

 

Before the fight did you say Ricky had over-trained?

 

Of course he's not gonna come on here and tell punters "Oh by the way Ricky won't be at his best on saturday coz of all the training camps" he's going to rightfully defend his fighter.

Ricky struggled in the fight for whatever reasons and i'm willing to cut him and Billy some slack and believe the over training as he had 3 camps in December March and then May that is bound to affect a fighter so he's had a well earned break and getting back into it for the Beltran fight.

Good luck Billy lets keep that WBO belt in Scotland for a while yet and get some big fights for Ricky both top guys and it's great that you come on here to talk to the fans even though you get some stick.

Onto the question I'm not sure what's going on with Gonzalez but i'll be a keen watcher of his career i think he was very underrated over here and people assumed he was a banger and a tomato can brought over for Ricky to beat up but he was a good technical boxer aswell just gassed after 6 rounds and lost heart but if he can sort out his stamina and heart maybe move up to 140 he could be a world level operator.

 

If Ricky Burns didn't come across as such a perfect gentleman I'd want him to get knocked out just because of Billy's attitude on here. It annoys the hell out of me.

If Ricky over trained an wasn't at his best that night. Give JC a rematch if Ricky can perform so much better,will be an easy nights work for you!

The Rican boxing fans rated Gonzalez very high, they thought he was going to murder Burns. I was one of many who underrated Gonzalez, the clips on youtube were of him knocking out average fighters, because of this i thought he would crumble stepping up in class, which he eventually did after looking very good for 7 rounds.
Gonzalez is very talented and hits hard, he would imo win a title if he sorted himself out.
