Talking about a 23 year old kid here. Give him time but I honestly think he has the ability to beat someone like Golovkin if he continues to progress. He has the type of style to give him fits.
Boring? I am pleased I know nothing about boxing!Saunders boxed beautifully a great performance........it's not MMA......his speed and movement were top notch.
Chisora fight was a very dodgy finish. Scott mistimed that count badly but I think the ref should've seen that while he was down he was fine so that as soon as he got up the fight could continue. BJS showed more of what he's about. He showed some nice boxing but then showed he can dig deep and gut out a hard 12 rounds even though he looked like he was tiring much earlier. I'd love to see him standing next to Barker, Murray and a few other big middleweights because he still doesn't look like a 160 to me.
Im not even gonna comment on the Chisora/Scott fight Im blaming 2 people Ref - for counting slow but then speeding up from 9 to waving it off Scott - for waiting til 9 to start to get up was ****ing stupid lol Hate when fights end like this because you know its months before a rematch can even happen and it wont happen Will be good to see Chisora in some big fights though
Scott claimed that he was the best heavyweight in the world, by far! LOL! He claimed that he would knock Vitali or Vlad out easily, well, I don't think so....................Chisora would have stopped Scott anyway and would beat Scott in a rematch, no doubt about it..............
Didn't expect this.Chisora boxed far better than I thought he would.Has he put himself above the other Brits in contention? This is IMO a really good scalp.Bet they're hoping Povetkin beats Wlad,as I couldn't see the latter defending against him after the events in Germany.Talk of another fight in September.Hope it happens to keep the momentum going
Also throughout the whole card good to see some decent sportsmanship, particularly by Scott. No bellyaching. Also Saunders, who doesnt go in for trash talk, and O Sullivan, who gave of his best and gave Billy his props.Hope what Jimmy Tibbs said about his future happens.I do believe hell do well.
Scotts head was spinnin so he took a knee.he was hurt enough to either react too slow,or not want to take another shot.he didnt complain either.he's got the heart of a basketball player
The photo shows Scott still touching the canvas at 8. Scott, for whatever reason, did not get up in time.
