Does anyone have the blueprint to beat this guy? I mean Hopkins tried spoiling, but that didn't work. How can you possibly beat somebody that throws 100+ punches a round? Do you time him? Do you try and go for the KO, and end up tiring out? Do you head butt him as many times as you get away with it?
How do you double the jab when he's hitting you at the same time with 3 punches to every jab you throw?
Considering 32 of his 46 wins came from KO's he sure must have been slapping quite hard. Do you think he was maybe fighting bantamweights? :rofl This conversation is over, I cannot take your logic seriously dude, sorry.
Lol, what? Bro, did you not see his stoppages? Don't make me post the video of all the British stoppages he had. Actually, I'm going to watch that video right now, **** is hilarious.
quick feet, upper body and head movement, positioning yourself to neutralise his punch output, and have decent power in at least one hand
Sounds a lot like the prime Kessler he fought and stopped? :good Anything else you might have missed?
Lol yo, I can't believe this guy actually brought up Slappy's KO percentage after watching the video "Calzaghe the KO specialist" The funniest stoppage was the one where he fought Manfredo Jr. :rofl
and a decent left hook, which is usually a good punch vs a southpaw btw, when did Joe ever stop Kessler? :huh
You've got to beat him at his own game. Throw more faster, accurate, punches. Ignore the fvcking idiot Yanks, they treat Whitaker like a god, but call J Cal slappy. Then again the words irony, and America are alien to each other.
