    Sometimes brutality is required.

Just take a look at how many threads this ***** hijacks with his Roid Jones obsession.

I'd bet if someone started a thread saying who was the goat at Heavyweight, this clown would find a way of hyping Jones' win over the totally fvcking useless Ruiz, into the most meaningful fight ever.:lol:

loudon, hope you are well. bailey should probably send you a gift basket since your responses give him his only reason for living, defending the 168 lb title reign of joe calzaghe. it's so comical. nothing is sadder than seeing someone who lies to themself constantly until they're fooled into believing what they say is true. you see it in religion all the time. it's just in this case bailey's god is joe calzaghe. :)

Kohl wasn't going to change his plans after admitting Jones was eager to fight DM.. That much was said. You added the humoring the delusional bullshitters part. You act like you were there.

Instead of smiley faces, why don't you try and refute anything I said in that post.

    It is all true.

Loudon waffling away after taking a complete mauling from Joe.Boxer.
Loudon dont you understand how posters like Joe use facts and you just post on what you think and your own opinion

Steady up Joe. I just ruined him a few pages back and now you are destroying a broken man. Well he doesnt know what he is going on about, so a bit of further schooling will probably help him down the line :happy

    :patsch what an ignorant post.
DM was the man making big money to bigger crowds. Why didnt Jones chase the man and go to Germany? whats this rubbish about fighting in America all about?
Just look at how ward said something similar recently and look at his fight with Dawson another established American boxer and look at the crowd and event, then look at Froch and Kessler in the UK and see the difference, or look at the crowds the Klitschkos get in Europe

You wont see anyone try and debate it as they know what they are looking at.
How was Froch a better win, he had lost to Kessler coming off a loss and then had beaten Abraham coming off a loss who isnt a top SMW and Johnson who is a SMW journeyman that lost to Sheika years back.
Eubank has one of the best SMW resumes ever, was younger than Froch, better skilled, better fighter and fought in far greater company.
I have compared Eubank and Kessler before and can do again and show you that Eubank was a better win for Calzaghe than Kessler was for Ward

    Rubbish and completely daft post.
Show me where SMW was the weakest during that time because I can show you it wasnt. Once again this is just Loudons opinion and nothing else. Pointless post.

Even the lack of knowledge about the boxers you listed he beat above stinks. there was still big hope of a unification at that time. Also note how Loudon missed out the Woodhall fight which was a big showdown, that was sandwiched between the Sheika and Veit fight. Or the Brewer fight after McIntyre, where both Woodhall and Brewer were SMW world champs.
Loudon schooled again and doesnt name Mitchell after Pudwill

Starie a world class SMW who had beaten undefeated C Woods

Sheika a world class SMW who had beaten prime G Johnson

Veit went on to become a world class SMW and interim world champ

Note how the fighters above all beat a fighter who became a world champ at LHW, showing how SMW was tougher

McIntyre a sub for Echoles who pulled out but live on American TV

    Jiminez a mandatory and gimme

Pudwell a sub for Tate who pulled out

    Loudon ruined again

He had a fantastic point when he noted that this thread is about the goat at SMW and you go on about Jones LHW resume. It shows you have an agenda and have self pwned

HBO PPV generates the most money.. And plenty of European fighters have come over here made a name for themselves and got the huge fights. Ricky Hatton, for all his limits was a HUGE name here in the US, as well as Naseem Hamed, and Lennox Lewis.. Calzaghe even actually started to be a common name here when he retired. They all understood that it was important to a legacy to fight here, which is why they DID.

We know why Jones wouldn't go to Germany when he was the best... Though I am sure you don't agree with it, but put yourself in his shoes for a minute. He was haunted by Seoul for much of his career, and I think he honestly felt he wouldn't get a decision against DM.

I am not accusing Joe of ducking anyone, but I don't think he always wanted to challenge himself.
