Price should not retire. Price needs to get a new trainer and conditioning coach, such as the steroid expert Marquez hired before the last Pac fight. Marquez hired the top steroid expert in the world today who also happens to be the top expert at cheating drug tests. He testified against his fellow criminals to keep from going to prison, he got immunity.................this was all over the news at the time of the fight.

I never rated price, He's too robotic. He got walked down by an old man who ain't even got no pop in his punches, Thompsons punches looked lathargic and weak tbh, price just couldn't defend.. Price is one dimensional

Thompson may have extremely slow hands, but his pop has never been questioned, he does have genuine heavyweight power.

What ever happened to his jab? Progressively lost its potency as his number of pro fights increased until it eventually turned into a Harrison-esque pawing/blocking nothingness.

  5. David Price isn't finished .. he just never began.

How so? Did you miss Wilder vs. Harrison?

Don't be misled by his Prizefighter glory; Harrison is still a fond pat on the noggin away from crumbling on any night.

Amazing how 2 fights can change peoples opinions.Last year most people were saying Tyson Fury had no chance with Dave and he was the heir to both the Klitshkos.Started off by the British boxing media.Dont consider myself an expert, but I saw that as a 50 50 fight and never thought he'd be a world champion. The second one I stand by,but he has talent, and his management have made mistakes.I think he has a family, and can make good money doing what he's been doing.I could easily see him winning a European title in the future, and getting some good wins. When he retires,I think hell be seen as a success.

Just re-watched the entire fight before commenting, and he was absolutely gassed, completely gone by the beginning of the 5th round. That is absolutely criminal. The other thing was him not at all using the jab, which was something which he should have used and should be using in all of his fights.

I see no way back as he has zero ring IQ. Two knock out defeats in a row and not many fighters can come back from that to be a champio,
