Chisora V Harrison September 21st?

I think Chisora is motivated- calling out Wlad/Vitali post fight proved that to an extent. He needs to be fighting at a higher level than Harrison in September, I'd like to see him fight another fringe contender in the top ten. Alas it'll likely be Sprott.

theres a lot of HW's out there that ****** could get over to fight Chisora. now he won that WBO international belt i guess he will be fighting someone in the WBO top 15. Denis Boytsov Luis Ortiz Seth Mitchell Alex Leapai Christian Hammer are all top 10 with the WBO could be one of them.

 

Hammer is decent enough. Pulev hasn't got a dance partner currently but that fight would likely be a war and one Dereck would likely lose.

 

Burns had some good defences mate if you think, Mitchell, Katsidis, Moses where all bum fights then your expectation are far to high i thought all those defences where good opponents, as for Clev he is fighting by far the most dangerous opponent he could face outside a unification bout and remember ****** did make the Bellew fight in Liverpool so dont think all the fights have been that handy just some have been alright

 

i think they will try and make the Price fight for the British and commonwealth titles. not sure Prices team will take it.

 

Someone on here said that they reckon Dereck will fight lesser guys and wait for a title shot to come, problem is he cant do that he cant afford to sit and wait, he has to fight a Charr or Mitchell to really push on from here, Scott was a good win but he needs another 2 against even better guys to get another shot

 

Chisora needs challenging fights he seems in good shape mentally and physically and hard camps and fights will only improve that

 

Agreed on that one,mate.The only British heavy who I think would take on Pulev is Fury.They took the Haye match instead,I believe,for more money and because they see David as more of a winnable fight.Theyve said as much in interviews.The advantage they've got in all this is that Fury is a young man and could improve on already impressive showings.I agree with you that Pulev would probably beat Derek.Cant see that happening unless Pulev gets the title.

 

Hi,mate,it was me who said it.Yes,thats what I think they'll do.I know he's had a few losses but I regard Scott as a really good win and due to the lack of talent in the division I could see his promoter lowering the standard of opposition.I couldn't see Wladimir defending against him due to Dereks antics last time in Germany,but possibly Povetkin.Not likely for him to win but not impossible,either.I would see both Charr and Mitchell as fairly risky,which he could lose,even here.But I hope you're right.I never thought the Scott fight would come off and tipped him to beat Chisora,so it'd be good to see him going for it rather than marking time fights waiting for a shot.

Richard Towers just pulled out the Lucas Browne fight due to "visa issues" so I think with the new FWP / Hatton deal that fight could be easy to make, plus Towers has just gone through a camp so won't need as full camp.

 

richard towers is not a big name...in any way....he has a padded unbeaten record but nothing else in his favour......nothing wrong really with the fight but if old frankie says 'big name' then its definetly not him

 

Doug,Chisora said on Bunce hour he didn't know why David tackled him,implying that he himself wouldn't fancy it.Big southpaw and all that.

 

Oh yeah I forgot that Frank has never lied before. I'd go for Towers or a faded former champion.

Maybe even Charr? I don't have a clue, just throwing names out - it seems to short notice to get a proper big name over.

Plus I think if it was a BIG name, Frank would have it as it's own show at the Copper Box because Dell has become a bit of a ticket seller.
