Should there be a Super Heavyweight division for the bigger fighters? I personally say no. The last thing this sport needs is another weight class.

    exactly, I agree with you

and it's not as if the smaller HW's can't compete with the giants, Holy vs Bowe, Adamek vs Grant or Haye vs Valuev are prime examples

    No. It's the upper limit.

Not until the top ten is 8 or 9 SHW, >6"4, >240lbs AND visibly athletic. Currently only a handful of SHWs actually look like good boxers.

Lol, I hope you're being sarcastic!

I personally think super Heavyweights is a stupid idea.. I mean, who would the Klitschko's even fight?

Yes, as is the SHW have too much of a size advantage. Having additional belts at heavyweight would be good for boxing. More belts mean more opportunity for a charismatic champion to emerge (without being forced to fight the awkward giant ruling the roost at SHW).

No we don't need a super heavyweight. Plus come on guys, how awesome is it when you get a wrecking ball 220lb, 5ft 11, heavyweight like Mike Tyson and you witness the destruction as they rip down tree trunks. Or an Evander Holyfield toughing it out, staying with a big guy like Bowe and not simply being a push over.

We just need the smaller Heavys to step it up more, I don't think we've seen the last of the great heavyweights. They'll come again, they always do.

Klitschkos wont last for much longer anyway and tbh its a back handed compliment to them that people even consider a SHW division.

we already have a lot of divisions & champions at present. No need to add a new one just to add more confusion to the already confused casual boxing fan.....:-(
