    Butt-hurt much? Good.

    Hatred for Jones? :lol: I am one of the most fair and level-headed posters on esb. You however are clearly not very bright, and have very poor boxing knowledge and judgement - recently displayed by another really rubbish post;

He didn't admit Jones was eager to fight. If you keep repeating it, it's still going to remain false.

This whole situation was a result of cross-dressing shemale clown negotiator Kerry Davis being brought in to try to make some progress in making a DM-Jones fight - because of Reluctant Roy's reluctance and his promoter and managers being useless.

That he, along with the rest of the world, knew full well that Jones is full of ****. That much was obvious.

But he clearly states now that Jones fans and journalists are pissed off, he finally wants to get in the ring with DM.. You are way off topic.

See what I mean when I said your hatred for Jones makes your head all fuzzy?

    bailey,

Well, I'll try my best not to, but it'll be so hard.

    Of course!

He had the IBF. If he couldn't obtain the other main two, why would he have been bothered about Collins's WBO belt?

Before you delude yourself in thinking you've schooled someone, why don't learn how to read beforehand?

He COULN'T get the Benn or Liles fight!

    So his choices were:

    Fight Collins for the WBO.

Or drop the IBF and move up for a new challenge.

The interim WBC belt at 175 (later upgraded to the full belt) was a MORE attractive proposition to him.

It's really not difficult to grasp.

Hill HADN'T fought DM when Roy had decided to move up! :good

Collins was dismissed to fight the likes of Hill.

Hill was in Roy's sights, but he ****ed up by having a moment of madness against Griffin. Roy was talking about fighting Hill as he was preparing for the first Griffin fight early in 97. If Roy had've got to Hill before DM, he'd have taken both of Hill's belts instead.

    What are you talking about?

Ask some fans on here that are from The U.S.

Any fight for Roy is bad at this stage.

Roy has worked with Don a few times, but reluctantly. He's also never made commitments to him.

Don wanted future options in the 90's, and Roy and the Levin's weren't going to agree to it.

    No, for various reasons.

    DM didn't want it.

    Hop wanted 50/50.

Holyfield drew with Ruiz in their third fight, so there would have been no belt at stake.

I said Griffin was a bigger fight to Roy.

A WBC, 175 title fight against Griffin, (with Hill potentially around the corner) was a more attractive bout than a WBO title fight against Collins.

Let me know when it's sunk in.

That fool has tied himself up in knots. He's more deluded than you are, and that's saying something!

I never said he was better than Roch. Roch was a good fighter. I was pointing out that there were gaps in DM's record, just like they were on Roy's and every other fighter.

    No he didn't.

DM play acted against Roch to get him DQ'd in 96.

Then the following year, Roy vacated his title to fight Douglas.

Roch then fought Nunn and won the VACANT title.

Roch was there unfairly stripped, and Roy regained it.

DM then fought Roch THREE years later.

So DM beat a guy who'd briefly held it three years earlier.

But you can't say that he had a claim to it.

    It's ridiculous!

Against who? Hanshaw, Ajamu and Tito who couldn't make the 170 catchweight?

Joe said a fight would be pointless, because Roy was shot.

    Joe HIMSELF said that.

Roy had been destroyed by Johnson FOUR YEARS EARLIER, and Joe also said that he'd be disappointed to fight Roy, as he was no longer great.

So are you saying that Joseph was lying, because that's what HE said, not me, HE said it.

The fact that he was made to fight him at 35, for U.S. exposure was a joke!

Through a magazine ha! Then the proposed double header was turned down to instead fight King and Lakatos. He was clearly desperate for the fight.

Don't forget he was blind too. Ha!

More guessing? Ha! You asked me a question on what I THOUGHT would have happened? I've answered.

Unfortunately I don't possess the same Psychic powers as Joseph.

No, but it at least it would have been a possibility.

Ricky Hatton got the Floyd fight.

Joe had no chance of getting a big money fight with Roy in the early 00's, while he was fighting in Britain at 168.

No.. Because that isn't what he said.

He is saying now that Roy's fans have turned agasint him, he suddenly wants to fight....

He would then go on to say they were not going to suddenly change their plans so Roy could repair his image.. Which to me means fight DM..

They dicked Roy in this instance.

:rofl:patsch, ok, so you didn't pick up on it. Not surprising with someone as slow-witted as you.

The only dicking Roy did was to himself, and his little butt-buddy Derek Gainer.
