Louis's jab wasn't slow against Max Baer. I agree with your list, though. Big George's jab against Chuvalo was brutal!

This is a good point. Some guys use jabs almost as a power punch that is designed to punish (e.g. Liston), and others use it as a primary way to score points (e.g. Ali) , and yet others use it to set up other punches or close distance for the real heavy stuff (e.g. Duran).

Zab Judah had an impeccable jab early in his career.

    Ask Mike Ayala.

Despite Gil Clancy's subsequent call of a right hand as the culprit, Tim Ryan instantly called it as "a straight left" which resulted in Mike taking a delayed reaction knee late in round seven. It was Mike himself who said this seemingly innocuous jab landed perfectly on the tip of his nose, shattering it to bits. The next time I saw anything like it was when Ray Mercer saved himself from his first schooling by Damiani by similarly exploding the Italian's nose with an apparently light uppercut.

It was a lack of hand speed, not punching power, which cost Danny the most against Sanchez. But his jab was reportedly key to his title winning decision against Kotey in Ghana.

Lennox Lewis was outjabbed by Ray Mercer, who was shorter, had a shorter reach and was not a particularly fast jabber at heavyweight. Are you sure you want to claim Lewis has the 3rd best heavyweight jab ever? Are you English, btw?
