Where was his smirk when he faced Watson ?
He went life and death both times.

Watson boxed Chris' ears off; and Kessler is an even better boxer than Watson.

Eubank completely schooled Watson in their first fight with a very relaxed, clear-as-day constant smirk to a non-blind person. Watson did nothing.

Kessler isn't as good as Watson was.

Eubank was very good when he faced come forward fighters like Benn, Wharton, Thompson.
He struggled vs good boxers who could extend the fight and test his stamina.

    Ok.

Or rather, wasn't he the one in the later rds swinging wildly at Watson's peek a boo defense like a drunken sailor at a ballroom event ?

He struggled against southpaws and runners. Neither of which Kessler is.

Kessler is just a basic, straight-up European fighter with a lack of punch variety and lack of athletic ability. He was made for Eubank. Just like Watson was, Malinga was, Rocchigiani was, Corti was, etc.

And how do you figure he outpunched lightning fast Mundine ?
The guy always finished his fights without a scratch on his face.
    Rewatch the tapes.

Look Chris, it was a very close fight that could have gone either way, but there's no way you schooled Michael, but on the other hand Watson was not robbed like some claim either.

I would say the first seven rounds, Watson was schooled. Eubank won all those rounds comfortably - his own dehydration and numbing legs were causing more problems than Watson's fists. The subtle skill that Eubank showed in the first seven rounds of the first Eubank/Watson fight is as impressive as I've seen - hardly anybody can stand still in front of their opponent and counter like Eubank did without getting nailed, it requires tremendous reflexes. He was evading Watson's jab by moving his head about a centimetre with split-second timing and complete relaxation - VERY impressive.

By the way, Kessler did retire Beyer in four rds.
    Mikkel's signature win.

And the Watson that gave Chris hell had already been stopped by Mc Callum.

I think Eubank would have had 1 defeat and that's to calzaghe himself, he would have beat both Kessler and Hopkins, though may have slipped up against one of the lesser opponents with fair judging when he wasn't up for it

I'm not so sure Calzaghe could have got through Eubanks resume unbeaten though, I think there is likely to have been a couple of close defeats in there.

Super Joe was indestructible. No middleweight in history would even stand a chance.
