He has already shown in the Ams that he has more heart for the tear up than Audley.

    As for who trains......

My Money would be on Booth

McCracken is a good shout and they know each other already plus Froch is retiring soon so he could do with a project outside the Am's, other than him I would say Booth has done pretty well with Haye but that style is probably not suited to Joshua who is far more orthodox from what I've seen...

Let's see how he handles himself at the pro ranks.
He will probably be fed punchbags in his first year so we might have to wait a while before we see what he's really made of.

I wouldn't expect him to fight anyone at even British level for the first couple of years at least he'll be learning on the job so to speak.

I thought he would be a good match as well but unless McCracken steps down from the GB setup no way will it happen as there would be huge conflict of interest problems with Joshua turning Pro.

McCracken would have a hard time maintaining the statement he released saying 'we are obviously very dissapointed that he has decided to leave the GB set-up' if in the next breath he then announces he is going to train him as a pro.

Most top amateurs turn pro at some point, he's "won" a gold medal so there's not much more he can do and even people behind the scenes at the GB set up would admit as much.

I don't think atm with Froch as his number 1 he has any time for Joshua anyway but maybe in 18 months time when it's all died down a bit he can train him. Ultimately Joshua being a successful pro encourages kids to take up boxing at AM level as he is also a gold medal winner and will get everything that comes to him off the back of that so that line could be peddled!

    James Stabler has no shadow.

When he looks in the mirror and sees no reflection, the mirror then faces 7 years of bad luck.

I agree with most of that.

I think legally it would be a bit sticky at the moment but in the future absolutely.

Lennox seems to be getting stick because of Price, no idea why though, there wasn't anything he could have done in the limited time he had.
