I wish people would stop going on about Kenny Anderson. It reminds me of before the Dirrell fight when people talking about getting tagged by American club fighters and how Froch would run him over. Didn't quite turn out like that.

George Groves has more variation than Froch, has more patience than Froch, and is more pragmatic. He'll be comfortable with what Froch has got to offer, however I don't think Froch will be quite as happy fighting someone who will be play the spoiler one minute, and then unleash a barrage off hurtful hooks the next.

The problem will come late in the fight when Groves - who carries more muscle mass compared to the leaner, genuinely genetically gifted Froch - begins to get arm weary and Froch increases the volume. I can see George being on ***** street if Froch still has that fire and fitness that marks him out as special, and although Groves is elusive when fresh, he's not when he fatigues.

    Should be a great fight.

If you make idiotic statements you will be called an idiot,if not by me by somebody else, dont be getting touchy about it and ask me to come and see you because that wont happen, its not that Im frightened I would call you an idiot to your face if you made a silly statement like that in my presence and there would be nothing you could do about it so why would I waste my time.

I call it how I see it.

If I am worng I expect to get called on it.

I think Glencoffe's approach against George had plently to do with the shots George hit him with as well as has been pointed out a decline in ambition.

Is this statement idiotic? well maybe in your opinion and I can live with that.

Glenn Johnson barely threw a punch for almost the whole second half of the fight against Groves,Johnson has fought much better fighters than George Groves in his time so I highly doubt he was so bamboozled by what Groves was throwing at him that he decided not to fight back.I think thats what your getting at anyway is it??The guy was completely shot to peaces mate he didnt have anything left,a blind man could see that.

How you couldnt is beyond me.

I said if you want to insult me come and do it to my face.

Hardly a challenge to a fight.

I come on here to talk about boxing.

Even when I don't agree with people I very very rarely resort to petty name calling.

If everyone agreed this place would be boring.

Is this statement any more incorrect?

That is more or less a challenge to a fight...unless you are saying if he did say it to your face you would just say "ok fellow thanks for coming to say it to my face i'm off for a shandy now byeee" :patsch

The questions I see here is will Groves be able to hurt Froch and out box him early? I may be wrong but the answer I have is no, and no I can't see him winning anymore than 2-3 of the first 6 rounds.

Can Froch hurt Groves? Yes I think he can hurt Groves with any shot he throws. I still think Groves has a very suspect chin and other than DeGale, when both were much less expierienced Groves has never been in a real battle.

Who has the better stamina and expierience should this develop into a real fight? That undoubtably goes to Froch and I honestly think with at least 95% likelyness that Froch has enough to 'take him into the trenches'.

I'll admit I am wrong if it turns out I am but I honestly think Froch is slap bang in his peak, I don't think Groves is quite at his yet and in the past Groves has looked a bit vulnerable and with his lack of expierience Froch will be able to finish if he gets hurt.

I probably wouldn't be there anyway. He would have more chance looking in my local.

Well if you remember that so well you will remember that Froch was still quite unproven himself at the time and that it was seen as a pick 'em fight.

I think this is what makes this an interesting fight.

It is basically will Groves be able to take the heat that Froch brings.

If the answer is yes then Groves probably wins.

If its no then he probably gets stopped.

I do believe Groves has the ability to hurt Froch.

    World Wide that it true.

But in the UK most thought it would be a comfortable win for Froch.
