    Apparently this fight is happening and Pulev has no interest in facing Chisora.

    Here's the latest I got today:

    According to a friend Pulev has just confirmed to Bulgarian media that he is fighting Thompson. Here's a translation:

    "I'll fight Tony Thomson. The fight is agreed and I have nothing more to say on the subject! I don't know why people write that I'll be fighting Chisora. Might happen. Let me first beat Tony, than we'll see"

    There are reports in Europe now that Kubrat Pulev vs. Tony Thompson has been agreed to for August 24, they are just waiting for the IBF's approval before announcing it.

    Finally? It's only been a couple of days since this was first mentioned.

    Hell, Thompson vs. Price II was only this month, barely over a fortnight ago.

    We've hardly been kept in agonizing suspense for an undue time. :yep

    Yes Walker hurt him bad. Pulev has a suspect chin and seems to have easy to cut skin. Easy win for TT. About time Pulev steps up. Thompson is going to expose Pulev.

    Pretty quick turnaround for Thompson, the fight will be 6-7 weeks after beating Price.

    I'm guessing this will be on the Abraham/Brahmer card.

    Pulev's first fight in almost a year and this will be Thompson's third fight of the year so I'd expect Thompson to have some success against a rusty Pulev early but Puelv should win, solid fight.
