Jose Roman. He's a local, OC kid who was in a hell of a fight on the Rios/Alvarado 1 undercard. I've met him, he's a pretty nice kid. There's another kid from Santa Ana who has made it as far as ShoBox. Name escapes me, but I've seen him fight and will definitely follow his career.
Nice to see Makabu getting a few mentions Someone I always bring up in these threads is another cruiserweight, also from the Congo (but based in France) who is even more exciting. Youri Kalenga http://boxrec.com/list_bouts.php?human_id=530410&cat=boxer I've been watching him for a couple of years after seeing this... [yt]WMRoc4ZiczA[/yt] 2.30 Kalenga is still a bit raw & crude but he is a spectacular puncher who will be in a lot of fun fights. In his last fight & toughest test yet he took on another unbeaten prospect Iago Kiladze & did this... [yt]kyJZiUbrU1g[/yt] 6.50
I have what's called a job, and I'm at it right now. Non-dick posters might offer a name to help a guy out.
Biggest bum from Poland besides Andrzej Wawrzyk (worst HW in boxing history). Zimnoch won against an old McCall in his last fight through robbery.
Genesis Servania: 21-0 (8 KO) - Fighting on the Macao undercard this upcoming weekend in his first overseas fight. Very good technically. Record suggests that he doesn't have much power but has shown decent pop in recent fights which may increase his momentum. Has beaten three former world title challengers already. I'm not sure if he can get a world title, especially at super bantam, but he's one to keep an eye on at only 21 years old.
