He must be a tomato can if he's afraid of Warddke. Even bums like Dawson have the nuts to get in the ring with Warddke

    1-1 in the amateurs

I think Golovkin knocks him out at pro

Dirrell today would get walked down.. he boxes scared it seems or at least hesitant.. The Dirrell We saw in the Abraham fight would give GGG a boxing lesson.. Like a few on here have said Dirrell absolutely frustrates me with his inactivity, promotional problems.. I firmly believe he is more skilled than Andre Ward.. But doesn't have the boxing heart unless put in a do or die situation...

The fight would be folly, Dirrell isn't even a part-time boxer anymore.
If he'd been active all this time, I'd say Dirrell wide decision. if they fought next week, GGG by ko (not tko) round 5

I don't understand how a guy like Dirrell can get so much attention when I could name you hundreds who deserve discussion over him.

Stop talking about Dirrell. He isn't ranked. He walked away from the sport for medical reasons, which is fine. And he channeled his inner Tommy Morrison with a comeback fight against a junior middleweight recently. Good for him. This is like saying, "how would a rubber match go with Sergio and Paul Williams?"

Dirrell is nothing. ESB hype and hopes have kept his name alive when it should have died a year after the Abraham fight.

Dirrell would get smoked in his prime against GGG. Watch one of thier amatuer fights and you'll see that Golovkin has better composure, balance, accuracy and position. Dirrell is basically frustrated to tears.

Take off the head gear and lighten the mitts? GGG powers through Dirrell easy.

ggg already beat dirrell in the amateurs. the pressure would overwhelm dirrell. he won't see the final bell.

What a shocker. People picking the popular fighter over the hated one. Ggg has yet to fight at 168 and already is supossed to ko early one of the best Smw?

The guy showed legit skills and fought GGG in the amateurs, what your saying is just stupid because Dirrell beat Abraham and Froch he was a legit top 168lber and can come back and eventually get to the top again
Its a boxing forum and hes a boxer :nut

Indeed, it's hilarious. Golovkin is yet to prove he can perform as well as Dirrel did against Froch and Abraham. I liked both performances better than anything I've seen from GGG so far, plus they were both against fighters SIGNIFICANTLY better than anyone on Golovkin's resume AND in a higher division on top of that. Also, Dirrell fared perfectly fine in the amateurs against GGG and absolutely nothing so far suggests Golovkin would cruise past Dirrell. In fact, I favour 2009/2010 Dirrell by quite a bit.

People actually hate on Dirrell so much they forget how skilled he is, he schooled Abraham and knocked him down and had Froch looking like a C class fighter after he got the point deduction when he stood his ground a bit more

This can't be stressed enough. Guys, Dirrell vs Abraham wasn't even remotely competitive and he remains the only fighter to have ever knocked AA down to this date. Froch is considered a world class fighter and got his ears boxed off in his own backyard. Sure, some considered Dirrell's style aesthetically unpleasing or flat out "running" but frankly, I've found "running" dangerously often confused with "outboxed". Dirrell is highly mobile, hits hard, is fast on his feet and with his hands and has great reflexes. 2010 Dirrell is easily the best SMW of the current crop only second to Ward. What the **** is Golovkin is supposed to have done that would equal (arguably) dominant wins over AA and Froch? Golovkin's best win (Proksa? Macklin?) isn't half the boxer either of these guys is.
