He was done in Mexico. Not saying he would have won but the ref robbed him of his chance by stopping it far, far too early. Hopefully he gets back on track.

The diffrence being I had proof the fight was offered! Why don't you ask John mc carron his coach if the fight was offered.
Craig's a good lad and I wish him well but you need to ask yourself if he moaned about being on a ice rink show a year ago,why is he appearing in Kilmarnock and now the corn exchange strange that isn't it?
See Craig had a great chance in prizefighter he was in against journeymen and novices so let's be honest he should have walked it! He never, although he clearly beat larry IMO the stats were big time in Craig's favour.

Mate he got beat fair and square in Mexico, his corneman was heard saying Craig is walking through his punches, surely that in itself is reason for any ref to stop any fight, walking through a KO specialists punches **** sake!

We've been over this a few times Billy, I was just letting the other folks know the 2 sides of the story I'd heard.

I thought he was talking recently, didn't know that was in Mexico.

I had high hopes for him when he joined your stable Billy. Always had the skills but I thought with the conditioning your fighters come into the ring with, he would benifit and come on leaps and bounds. Shame really.

Craig never fought for me,I trained him for a few months and he took the McQuillan fight I told him not to,he'd just been beat by Lee and GB wanted to put him in with a banger in Mexico, not the ideal comeback fight is it,but Craig decided to take the fight and ended up being trained in Edinburgh by Gary Young, went to Mexico and got stopped

Get this man's career on the road. He's not A+ or elite class but he's always had a lot of heart. Andy Lee should give him a rematch. Ireland Vs Scotland.

Yer that was a strange decision to fight Quillan. Especially after the war with Lee. Should have stuck with you Billy.

    Who is he with now?
