To be perfectly honestCraig doesn't deserve a rematch does he,he needs to fight better opposition and kick on with his career, good luck to him? No doubt someone will tell him differently and he'll listen to them

Fighting tonight in NYC on a Lou DiBella card, against an American with a 14-13-3 record. Glad to see him back in action, just a shame that it has to be out there because as set out above there are a few decent match ups that could be made at home.

Pretty sure he was offered a spot on the Froch Groves card last minute but was too short notice.

Maybe a good win tonight will propell him back into the domestic scene.

He is looking poor here. :verysad

Halfway into the six rounder. He was dropped, end of 3rd while circling on his toes by a series of straight lunging body punches that made him trip over his own feet and tumble. The commentators all thought it an unfair ruling and tried calling it a slip but per the rules it was a legit KD. Inexcusable at this level. He took the first two rounds but hardly looked sharp in the process, jabbing-and-grabbing while the American did next to nothing but pose.

Awful showing. I have it 58-55 to Dashon Johnson.

If they give it to Craig, it's a robbery I must say.

(special guest commentator Ronnie Shields has it the same, FWIW)

Yep, the judges got it right. McEwan loses a UD, 58-55 x2 + 57-56.

White Collar at best are you for real?? Craig is a very very talented boxer. Just watch his fights with Andy Lee and Peter Quillain. I think there is reasons why he has not fulfilled his potential. Maybe he does have a chip on his shoulder. He has said on Facebook this morning that he has retired. I think it's boxings loss and hope he reconsiders and gets himself with a proper trainer

I don't think any trainer in the world would be able to change Craig's approach to his training. He has always been a talented boxer and if training sessions could be 95% sparring and pads he would be the best in the world but in the harsh world of professional boxing you need to do the hard graft too or you get found out when you step up. Craig didn't like to do the hard work and eh was always running out of gas in fights.

No trainer can force a fighter to do things he doesn't want to do that would be up to Craig to sort out, and if he can he could come back and pick up domestic honours.

McEwan is on his arse, spouting that he's world class when he's anything but, Andy Lee and Peter Quillin both pushed his **** in and he was knocked out in the first round of Prizefighter against a 2 fight novice ffs !! :(
