what is best weight class for fighter who is 6FT 1IN

lol, theres no definitive answer to that question. two people of the exact same height could have entirely different builds which is going to make more of a difference in their weight than how tall they are. im 6'1 and a skinny 215. some guys are 6'1 and a fat 180

I'm 6"1, last boxed at 140 when I was 5"11 a year ago, now walking round at 180 without boxing training. Going pro at the end of the year, likely going to try and do 160 or 154 if its not draining. Always been a tall skinny lad with nothing on me but filled out when I turned 18 this feb.

 

Where are you you turning pro out of? i'm same height as you and around 170lbs at the moment

 

Well anyways it depends on more than height, body build is quite significant

 

Its a dumb question, body type is far more important. There are 6'1 6'2 string beans like barkely and hearns. then there are guys built like stackhouses like joe frazier or mike tyson. Joe Frazier was like 5'10 and weighed as much as Ali, size means nothing if you can punch and take a punch
