****ing ******s... So a guy born in iraq os some other shithole is the baddest man on a planet in a boxing ring... Because he's 'fought' others guys from the 'hood - who also happen to carry AK47s and IEDs

Punching power is something you're born with. You don't have to be a world class talent in order to have top level punching power. It's similar to how you to can go to certain street ball games and see a a guy who can jump higher than LeBron James. Of course, just because you can jump high doesn't mean you're going to make it to the NBA. Just because you can punch hard, doesn't mean that you'll ever make it to the world class level.

The point that the TS was making wasn't that Garcia's uprbring makes him the baddest man on the planet, but rather that it makes him less likely to be scared of another boxer.

I'm sure Danny has seen a lot in them streets. So I doubt he is afraid of a Man in gloves standing in a boxing ring.

Kinda wtf has where he came from gotta do with whether he's got ring courage or ability? There does seem to be a common misconception that tough urban environments are the ideal preparation for boxing, possibly due to the high proportion of boxers that originate in them. But that's simply a case of cause and effect being reversed.

Even if it were true, it would be beyond naive to think that US 'hoods' are somehow tougher than others around the world. Too many gangbanger movies perhaps...

What is it with these dumbyanks and their obsession with the gutter?

Well done, you grew up stabbing grannies and turning tricks for some blow. I guess that makes you all 'g' and 'street'

What sort of lowlife amoeba idolise this sort of behaviour? (OP I'm looking at you here)

Being from the hood does not make someone tough. A tough person is someone that works hard and takes good care of themselves and their family to make ends meet.

I don't see anything tough rapping about hoes, rims, 40oz, clothes, plucking eyebrows, showing bling bling etc...

If you're going to call people stupid then you should at least be intelligent enough to know basic grammar. It seems obvious though that intelligence isn't your strong suit. Common sense and a fundemental understanding of the sport seem to be problem areas for you as well. Anyway, believe what you want. We'll just agree to disagree.
