Curtis Stevens calls out Golovkin

    Stevens says that he is a big puncher and that he would knock out Golovkin. Golovkin wants to fight 4 to 5 times a year and 1-3 of those fights would be against bums anyway. Why not take on Stevens in one of those fights next year? It would be fun while it lasted.

    Yeah it was pretty bad. Once Brinkley started touching Stevens he basically gave up. I can only imagine what GGG is going to do to him :dead

    Idk about gave up. He was discouraged a bit for awhile but the dude was marching forward throwing shots with two swollen eyes in the championship rounds, eating big shots and returning fire, banging his gloves together and asking for more in the final round.

    Hardly giving up.

    I was starting to really think highly of Stevens after the Ayala fight. He looked fantastic in that bout.

    -But then in the Findley fight, he looked amazingly average. And then I watched the Brinkley fight, and the luster was pretty much gone.

    I like the guy, he's certainly a decent boxer with good power, but Golovkin would probably make him look silly.
