    Should be a competitive scrap.

I lean toward Pulev decision. The longer the fight goes, the more it will favor the younger fighter.

Yes if he beats Thompsons ass I will give him credit. If he beats Thompson its a big step up. But if he really takes it to THompson and looks to good he can forget about a shot at Wlad. The IBF makes sure to put WLad in fights they know he can win. But from what I've seen of Pulev up to this point is all he has is a jab. He loops his right hand bad. I'm not sold on his chin yet either. We know what Thompson has to offer. I think he is getting a little to much credit for exposing Price. If he exposes Pulev as well thats going to say a lot about the talent coming out of Europe.

Well I agree Pulev seems to cut easy but I'm not sold on his chin yet. TT's power is underrated when you look back at some of his KO's. To be honest lets face it Thompson wont get this win on the scorecards no matter how many rounds he wins. SO to win Thompson has to slice his face up or go for the KO. Maybe he will try to hit Pulev in the ear like he kept trying to do against Price. Pulev is going to need more than a jab to win this one. Plus TT is left handed. I just don't see how Pulev wins other than a robbery. Pulev punching power is not much better than CHambers.

Lucas “Big Daddy” Browne stopped Walker while Pulev could not. Lucas “Big Daddy” Browne is better than Pulev as sad as that is. Well his chin is not as good but he has more punching power. What is sad Walker said Adamek hits harder than Pulev. Pulev has a lot to prove. Maybe he will beat Thompson. But I just don't see how he can do it. There is a reason he is 33 and only has 17 fights with 9 KO's.

While i wholeheartedly wish Tony would win (what a likeable fellow he is), there is no way a 41 year old veteran can best a seasoned prime fighter like Pulev, who on top of being younger is also very well prepared to fighting tall opponents.

I will be rooting for the tiger though, If only he was 5 years younger...

Good fight. The winner becomes the legit #3 in the division, eclipsing Povetkin and Haye.

Obviously Pulev is the favorite but I can't rule out Thompson. Wlad dominated Thompson twice because he's 1) faster 2) physically stronger and 3) just as big and long as Tony. Pulev has good attributes but he's not Wlad and I wonder if he can overcome the Tiger.

But I'm betting Pulev finds a way. Late stoppage. Thompson wins a few rounds early but eventually Pulev gets to him.

Thompson has only lost 2 times... both to wlad..... everyone underestimates the guy. until he loses to another guy other than wlad, I will go with TT

I agree here. We don't need Wlad - Thompson III, as much as I like Thompson and wish him all the best. For the sake of the HW division it would be best if Pulev won this eliminator.

    Hello Chef,

I am afraid that is incorrect.

Erick Kirkland took Thompson in school back in the day.

You don't rate Pulev much CHEF, do you? :) Other than the above - why do you think Tony will win?

Most people have a terrible time with TT's Lazy unorthodox style, and in addition most people think their going to be able to run right through him and get beat. Wlad beat him twice, because Wlad actually took him seriously, that in fact is most opponents major mistake.
