Saturday night when he takes joe hanks to school. Way to much skill & experience for hanks to deal with. The next Mexican hopeful at heavyweight!

This actually should be a really good fight. They're both probably the best opponents each other have faced.

I wouldn't bet on either guy, but I hope Ruiz takes it, just because he has time on his side.
Also, having a Mexican HW eventually make the top ten would be GREAT for the sport.

BTW - You notice that they're fighting in China? WTF?

How so? Mexico dominates nearly every division, why take the heavies too?

I am going for Ruiz. The fast-fast-fatso will KO him in two

Because Mexicans as a whole watch boxing more than most nationalities.
If they have a reason to pay extra attention to the HW division, then that division will get more TV exposure. - And since, like it or not, it's primarily the HW division that attracts the casuals .....

Only thing he is bursting is the seat of his pants due to his fat ass.

He's probably not even a genuine heavyweight just a blown up light heavy or cruiser, remember Butterbean he was a fatty with pretty quick hands too. Ruiz Jr makes Arreola look like Frank Bruno in terms of physique.

Kid's undoubtedly talented though, real fast hands and so far has shown impressive power but he'll never win a title unless he gets himself into the condition of someone that resembles a boxer. Stick him in with someone that can move and you'll quickly see what a disadvantage being so overweight will be.

He's clearly in better shape than he was when he turned pro at almost 300lbs but at 254.4lbs which is what he weighted in at for this fight he's still massively overweight and he has weighed around this kind of weight for the last 2 years so we are unlikely to ever see him much lower than this. Another american heavyweight from the fast food generation.

You mean late Friday night/wee hours of Saturday morning.

Sorry to burst your bubble, but Solo Boxeo tomorrow night will not be a live broadcast. It will be like a 14-hour tape delay. :yep

Ruiz looks in a lot better shape then when I've last seen him, even if he holds in his belly.
The dude behind him looking at his but isn't impressed and looks like he's falling asleep at the sight.

After this photo I'm sure Ruiz jr is going to bust up Joe "yo, yanks!" Hanks... The 14 hour tape delay might give Hanks just enough time to see Ruiz' punches coming though. :think
